“Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change”

This October, the Schools Division Office of Valenzuela City joins the celebration of World Mental Health Month, promoting awareness, understanding, empathy, and inclusivity.

Let us create a school community where every voice matters, every experience is respected, and everyone feels heard, valued, and supported.

🌿 Listen with empathy. Respect every experience. Include every voice. Support mental well-being.

Together, let us build a healthier, caring, and more compassionate learning environment for our learners, teachers, and personnel.

JEDSNHS and Ugong Senior High School successfully conducted the Mental Health Awareness Session for Class Officers on September 9, 2026 with the theme: “Building Resilient Learners, Empowering Leaders, and Strengthening Disaster-Ready Communities.”

The activity provided our student leaders with meaningful opportunities to deepen their understanding of mental health, resilience, leadership, and disaster preparedness. Through learning and meaningful conversations, our Class Officers were reminded that being a leader also means knowing how to care for oneself and support others.

Together, we continue to build a school community where every learner feels heard, valued, supported, and empowered.

📸 Here are some highlights from the activity.
