"𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐄 𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐕𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐍𝐙𝐀"

On May 25,2026 the Valenzuela City Jail Female Dormitory Under the proactive leadership of 𝐉𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐃 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐒, 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻, embraced the spirit of 𝑭𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝒅𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒚𝒐 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒂 𝑺𝒕𝒂. 𝑪𝒓𝒖𝒛𝒂𝒏 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 that radiated beauty and grace. Despite their confinement, four (4) female persons deprived of liberty (PDL) together with the Valenzuela City Jail Male Dormitory PDL took part in this cultural event, adding a touch of tradition and festivity to their surroundings. As the participants adorned in vibrant costumes and delicate flowers paraded through the corridors. The Sta. Cruzan celebration symbolized unity and faith, transcending barriers and nurturing a sense of belonging among all present.

Adding to the significance of the occasion, Teacher Prinseliza P. Fazardo lent her expertise as one of the judge for the event, contributing to the success and enjoyment of all participants. The presence of such a distinguished guest elevated the experience and made it even more memorable for everyone involved.

The VCJFD wholeheartedly extends their appreciation to teacher Fajardo for her dedication and commitment in making this activity possible, despite his busy schedule. Her support and involvement have not only enriched the lives of the PDL but also served as a reminder of the importance of inclusivity, support, and understanding in creating moments of happiness and connection within the facility.

VALENZUELA CITY JAIL -FD— In line with the organization’s commitment to promoting a healthy and balanced lifestyle among its workforce, fourteen (14) personnel of this unit actively participated in an energetic Zumba Activity on the morning of May 21, 2026.

The health and wellness initiative was successfully conducted under the direct leadership of 𝐉𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐃 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐒, 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻,

The activity was organized in strict compliance with the directive, “Healthy Tummy, Healthy Body, and Healthy Mind Program.” This program underscores the vital importance of physical fitness, mental alertness, and overall well-being for personnel, ensuring they remain fit and resilient in the performance of their daily duties.

Through the lively and high-energy Zumba session, participants were encouraged to sweat it out, reduce stress, and embrace regular physical exercise as a cornerstone of a healthy lifestyle.

Further the unit continues to prioritize programs that look after the physical and mental health of its personnel, fostering a stronger, happier, and more capable workforce dedicated to public service.

On May 20,2026, the Valenzuela City Jail Female Dormitory, headed by 𝐉𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐃 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐒, 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻, along with SJO Estrella W Aldamia Jail Nurse, JO1 Jonathan C Villarta Welfare and Development officer, JO2 Joy A Amoy TCMP Implementer, and JO1 Beverly Julio-Bacuetes, Community Relation Officer had the privilege as guests in the radio program "𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒚𝒐𝒏 𝑨𝒌𝒔𝒚𝒐𝒏 𝑵𝒈𝒂𝒚𝒐𝒏", News, Public Service and Commentary, aired in DWBL 1242 RADIO station hosted by Mr. Ben Figura, ang "𝘽𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙖".

This unique opportunity to connect with the community via a radio appearance served as an excellent avenue to share with the public the commendable practices and insights of this unit, as well as our various programs and campaigns.

VALENZUELA CITY JAIL-FD — In a powerful demonstration of solidarity, compassion, and community advocacy, the personnel of Valenzuela City Jail-Female Dormitory headed by 𝐉𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐃 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐒, 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲n, participated in the AIDS Candlelight Memorial Day 2026 held Valenzuela City Hall on May 18, 2026.

Events like this remind us that our duty extends beyond our daily routines; it’s about standing shoulder-to-shoulder with our community to support health, equality, and human dignity."

By actively engaging in these community-led initiatives, our personnel continue to build strong bridges between our unit and the public. Their participation highlights a collective commitment to creating an inclusive, well-informed society where health challenges are met with medical support and empathy rather than discrimination.

​VALENZUELA CITY JAIL -FD– Safety and emergency preparedness reached new heights this week as three dedicated personnel from this unit under the leadership of 𝐉𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐃 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐒, 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲n, successfully completed a Basic Life Support (BLS) Training program.

​The training, held at the Valenzuela City Training Hall, Action Center, was conducted by the City Health Office under the authority of City Health Officer 𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐘 𝐁 𝐂𝐔, MD, MPM-HSD, MPH-EOH, CESE. The sessions were conducted in two intensive phases, spanning March 7-8 and May 11-12, 2026.

Basic Life Support is more than just a certification; it is a critical skill set that can mean the difference between life and death during the "Golden Minutes" of a medical emergency.

VALENZUELA CITY JAIL -FD – Reaffirming their role in the city’s comprehensive public safety framework, the Valenzuela City Jail-Female Dormitory (VCJ-FD), led by Acting Warden JINSP MARY GRACE D. CARLOS, attended the "Safer City Accomplishments" press conference held yesterday at the Valenzuela City Hall.

​The high-level briefing was headlined by DILG Secretary Jonvic Remulla, alongside local officials, to highlight the significant milestones of the "Safer City" initiative—a program aimed at reducing crime and enhancing the sense of security for Valenzuela residents.

By participating in these strategic briefings, the VCJ-FD ensures that its correctional programs remain aligned with the DILG’s vision of a peaceful and orderly community.

​VALENZUELA CITY JAIL -FD – Demonstrating a commitment to civic duty and inter-agency collaboration, the Valenzuela City Jail-Female Dormitory personnel led by 𝐉𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐃 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐒, 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲n, participated in the weekly Flag Raising Ceremony held at the Valenzuela City Hall Grounds.

The event was marked by the distinguished presence of DILG Secretary Jonvic Remulla, who served as the guest of honor.

The participation of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) personnel underscores the strong partnership between the local jail management and the City Government of Valenzuela and ensuring that their service remains integrated with the broader mission of the city and the Department of the Interior and Local Government.
