Habang pinagmamasdan ang Club banner, Gong and Gavel at Charter Grant sa madilim na bahagi ng kwarto na naaaninagan ng ilaw galing sa labas at sinasabayan pa ng madamdamin at napakagandang kanta, muli kong binalikan ang mga araw na nag umpisa pa lamang ang Metro Central Elite Eagles Club. Mga araw na punung puno ng saya, pagmamahal at pangako na sa mga susunod na mga araw ay patuloy na gagampanan ng mga miyembro ang kanilang mga sinumpaang tungkulin. Na hindi kelan man papaapekto sa anumang balakid o pagsubok sa paligid. Patuloy na paggawad ng tiwala sa isa't isa upang mas maayos na magampanan ang tungkulin ng bawat miyembro. At sa mga susunod na panahon, ang kahandaang harapin at gampanan ang mga naiatang na responsibilidad ng bawat isa ay patuloy na magbibigay alab sa puso at isipan.

If your goal is simply to be liked, don’t LEAD!
Because TRUE Eagle leadership will require you to make hard calls that not everyone will agree with.
You’ll have to say "NO" when others expect you to say “yes.”
You’ll have to remind a fellow Eagles that "OK" is not enough, because you know they have the potential for greater excellence.
You’ll have to uphold our standards, even if some label you as too strict, too serious, or "HEARTLESS"
You will be misunderstood.
You will be MALIGNED.
You may even feel alone, sometimes betrayed by the very ones you thought shared your vision for service and brotherhood.
And in those moments, you will ask yourself:
Is this worthy?
Here’s what an Eagle leader:
Leadership in the Eagles is not about being liked.
It’s about being clear in your direction.
It’s about being consistent in living our core values.
It’s about staying anchored to our mission, even when others change with the tide.
We are not here to babysit emotions.
We are here to elevate our fellow Kuya and Ate, even if it means making them uncomfortable.
Because GROWTH is uncomfortable!
And if you lead only to PRESERVE POPULARITY, you will weaken the very people you are called to strengthen.
This doesn’t mean being harsh.
It means being COURAGEOUS.
Courageous enough to hold the line.
Courageous enough to be disliked for the right reasons.
Because one day, the very Eagles who were once frustrated with your discipline… will THANK YOU for never lowering the standard and lead the same way for the future.
That is the mark of a TRUE Eagle leader.
