Groundbreaking Ceremony | Katipunan Elementary School

Today marks another meaningful milestone for the people of Barangay Katipunan as the groundbreaking ceremony for the new 2-classroom school building at Katipunan Elementary School was successfully held.

This project was made possible through the generosity of A King Multi-Purpose Cooperative, in partnership with LGU Veruela, Barangay Katipunan, the Katipunan Elementary School GPTA, the support of our local community, and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

The Barangay Officials of Katipunan extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this project possible. This is more than just a building—it is an investment in the future of our children and the next generation.

For many years, our school has faced a shortage of classrooms. Some learners had to continue using old classrooms that had already deteriorated because there were no available replacements. Despite the challenges, our teachers and pupils remained resilient. Today, we are filled with hope and gratitude because this long-awaited project will help provide a safer, more comfortable, and more conducive place for learning.

Dako kaayo ang among pasalamat sa tanang nitabang ug nagpakabana aron matuman kini nga proyekto. Dako kini nga kaayohan dili lamang sa atong mga estudyante, apan usab sa mga ginikanan ug sa tibuok komunidad sa Barangay Katipunan. Ang inyong suporta usa ka bililhon nga pamuhunan alang sa kaugmaon sa atong kabataan.
Sa pagtinabangay sa tanan, padayon kitang magtukod og mas hayag nga kaugmaon alang sa matag batang Katipunanon.

📢 BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026
Dako kaayong pasalamat sa mga Barangay Officials, Barangay Tanod, ug uban pang Barangay Functionaries sa Barangay Katipunan nga aktibong mitabang sa Brigada Eskwela sa Elementary ug High School. Ang inyong paghatag sa oras, kusog, ug paningkamot usa ka dakong tabang aron maandam ang atong mga eskwelahan alang sa mas luwas ug maayong pagkat-on sa atong mga kabataan.
Nagpakita kita sa tinuod nga espiritu sa bayanihan pinaagi sa panaghiusa alang sa kaayohan sa edukasyon.
"Sa panaghiusa, mas lig-on ang komunidad ug mas hayag ang kaugmaon sa atong kabataan."

📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY | ANTI-RABIES AWARENESS

Under Republic Act 9482 or the Anti-Rabies Act of 2007, every pet owner has the responsibility to ensure that their dogs are vaccinated, properly restrained, and monitored to prevent animal bite incidents.

Based on recorded reports from January–March 2026, the Municipality of Veruela has already logged 124 animal bite cases. This is a reminder to all pet owners to become more responsible in caring for their animals to protect the safety of every family and community.

Mapasalamaton ang Barangay Katipunan sa mga personnel gikan sa Assessor’s Office nga sukad niadtong Lunes nagpadayon sa ilang field assessment ug validation dinhi sa atong barangay.
Ang maong kalihokan usa ka dakong tabang alang sa pagpalig-on sa tukmang rekord sa mga yuta ug kabtangan sa atong komunidad. Pinaagi niini, mas mapadali ang mga proseso ug mas daghan pa ang makabenepisyo sa mga serbisyo nga may kalabutan sa assessment ug dokumentasyon.
Nagpasalamat usab kami sa tanang residente nga nagpakita og kooperasyon ug maayong pagdawat sa atong mga bisita gikan sa Assessor’s Office.
Ang Barangay Katipunan nagpadayon sa pagsuporta sa mga programa ug serbisyo nga makatabang sa kaayohan ug kalamboan sa atong katawhan.
Daghang salamat ug padayon kita sa panaghiusa alang sa mas maayong Barangay Katipunan. ❤️
