Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing between JCI Zamboangueña and Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor.

Kap Aimie Cabato, President of JCI Zamboangueña, together with PCUP Mindanao Chief of Operations Atty. Ferdinand Iman, led the MOA signing between PCUP and JCI Zamboangueña.

Present during the signing were JCI Zamboangueña Past President Lyn Dela Peña-Diamson, Baliwasan Kagawad Hji Jeng Ismael, and presidents of various urban poor associations in Zamboanga City.

The partnership aims to bring government programs and services for the urban poor closer to the community and strengthen collaboration in addressing the needs of marginalized sectors.

Kap Aimie Cabato was one of the honored guests during the 30th Criminology Intern Graduation Ceremony of SINAGLAHI Class of 2026, celebrating the dedication, discipline, and achievements of the graduating criminology interns as they prepare for future public service and law enforcement careers.

As one of the education stakeholders, we remain committed to supporting our education sector and the academe in every capacity we can to help bring quality education to everyone.

This morning a call from CSWDO received by Kap Aimie Cabato informing here about the two minor rescued under the Flyover at Sta. Cruz. It was learned that they are from Barangay Baliwasan.

Kap Aimie immediately inform our BCPC Focal Ms Sheryl Uro to identify and locate the family of the minors. It was later learned that they are from Manggal Drive, Baliwasan Grande.

Acting on the situation, Duty of the day Kagawad Bibi Ducay assisted CSWD Team to manggal drive to personally turn-over the minors to their parents.

LUPON CONGRESS
Parangal at Pagsasanay para sa mas matatag na Katarungan Pambarangay

Barangay Secretary Michael Gregorio together with Lupon member Arsenio Lim attended the Lupon Congress which focused on the orientation on recent legal developments in dispute resolution, as well as the re-orientation and workshop on Katarungang Pambarangay (KP) Forms.

One of the highlights of the Congress was the awarding of plaques to the LTIA awardees in recognition of their exemplary performance and commitment in advancing effective barangay justice and community mediation.

An inter-agency meeting was conducted by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines – Zamboanga to address concerns regarding bird strike incidents at Zamboanga International Airport.

The meeting was attended by Kagawad Mon Ledesma, Kagawad Benjie Macrohon and Kagawad Bani Aidal and Barangay Tanod personnel, and other concerned agencies to discuss coordinated measures and strategies aimed at ensuring aviation safety and minimizing risks within the vicinity of the airport.

The initiative highlights the importance of collaboration among stakeholders in promoting public safety and maintaining safe airport operations.
