MARCHA DE LAS MUJERES: A Purple Walk for a Cause campaign, will happen Wednesday, March 8, in celebration of International Women's Day.

The march will start at San Jose Road (fronting the Bureau of Fire Protection) at 3pm (assembly time) and will end at Paseo del Mar where a brief program feting women and men who are advocates of gender equality and women's rights. will be held.

Employees of the City Government, national government agencies, government-owned and controlled corporations, private institutions, civic organizations and all sectors are enjoined to participate in the march to show commitment to gender equality.

Participants are also requested to wear anything purple/ violet.

The activity, organized by the City Government through the GAD Focal Point System in collaboration with the Local Council of Women, forms part of the month-long celebration of 2023 National Women's Month.

The Philippines has given the green light to the 2nd booster shots for senior citizens and frontline health workers on Thursday, May 19.
