WHY ORANGE?
It’s not because of any political affiliation, nor simply because our operational uniform is tangerine. The reason goes deeper.
Orange, is the chosen color by the UN Secretary General in line with the United Nations’ UNiTE to End Violence Against Women (VAW) campaign. This bright and optimistic color represents hope and a future free from violence against women and girls.
UNiTE to End VAW is a comprehensive global effort focused on preventing and eliminating all forms of violence against women and girls.
