NO HAY CLASE Y TRABAJO | FRIDAY, March 20, 2026 is a regular HOLIDAY nationwide in obervance of Eid’l Fitr, pursuant to Proclamation 1189 issued by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

The declaration recognizes the significance of Eid’l Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, a period devoted to prayer, reflection, and fasting.

𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐀𝐍 𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐇 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌

Ang mga piling g**o ng Mataas na Paaralang Pambansa ng Mercedes ay nagtungo sa Sinunuk Elementary School na matatagpuan sa Sinunuk Island noong Marso 8, 2026 upang magsagawa ng programang “Ramadan Outreach Program."

Layunin ng programang ito na magbigay ng kaunting tulong at saya sa ating mga kapatid na Muslim na nag-aaral at naninirahan sa Sinunuk Island, lalo na sa panahon ng banal na buwan ng Ramadan.

Sa pamamagitan ng programang ito, namahagi ang mga g**o ng iba't ibang tulong tulad ng bigas, pagkain, at iba pang pangunahing pangangailangan.

Nakiisa rin sa nasabing gawain ang Muslim Student Association (MSA) na tumulong sa pagre-repack ng mga relief goods na ipamamahagi sa mga benepisyaryo ng programa. Ang Ramadan Outreach Program ay nagpapakita ng pagkakaisa, malasakit, at pagtutulungan ng komunidad upang makatulong sa kapwa, lalo na sa panahon ng Ramadan. Sa pamamagitan ng ganitong mga gawain, napapalakas ang ugnayan ng paaralan at komunidad habang naipapakita ang tunay na diwa ng pagbibigayan at pagdamay sa kapwa.

‎The second day of the Leadership Program organized by the SSLG of Mercedes National High School was both meaningful and inspiring for everyone who participated. 🌟

‎We were honored to learn from 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗥𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗗. 𝗦𝗮𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗮, who shared an important discussion about bullying and its impact on students and the school community. His talk reminded everyone that leadership is not only about guiding others, but also about standing up for what is right, showing empathy, and helping create a safe and respectful environment for all. 🥰

‎𝗗𝗮𝘆 1 of the Leadership Training at Mercedes National High School was successfully conducted through the collaboration of the 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚) and 𝗦𝗞 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘀. The day was filled with meaningful discussions, learning, and active participation from our student leaders.❤️

‎We extend our sincere appreciation to 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗛. 𝗔𝘀𝗸𝗮𝗹𝗶, our first session speaker, for delivering an insightful talk that encouraged participants to strengthen their sense of responsibility and purpose as leaders. We also thank 𝗗𝗿. 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗨. 𝗠𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗲, our second session speaker, whose inspiring discussion further motivated the students and shared valuable perspectives on leadership and personal growth.🥳

‎In the afternoon, participants took part in engaging team-building activities that promoted cooperation, trust, and camaraderie among the student leaders. These activities allowed them to apply the lessons they learned while strengthening their connections with one another.💯

‎Overall, the first day was a productive and inspiring start to the leadership training, equipping our young leaders with knowledge, motivation, and teamwork that will guide them in serving the school and community.🎉
