Today, I took a drug test that yielded negative of any illegal substances. This test, I took voluntarily upon the request of my Uniteam partner, Senator Bongbong Marcos, to support the call for transparency as aspiring public officials seeking the trust of our fellow Filipinos.

Uniteam BBM-Sara’s stand against illegal drugs is united and unequivocal. This can be seen from both our negative tests as well as our common stance against the proliferation of illegal drugs and the need for effective measures of prevention, rehabilitation, and enforcement.

As important as the war against illegal drugs is, other compelling issues continue to challenge our country’s ability to provide long-term safety and security for our people. Therefore, it is crucial in this electoral season that we focus on the substantial qualifications of those that seek to lead our country. Particularly, that we examine our Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates under the lens of competence and experience – an infallible ability to manage crisis through policy and practice built up through years of executive, legislative, and administrative exposure; a proven track record of delivering security and development; and a clear and tested platform for job security and sustainable livelihood.

Marami sa ating mga kababayan ang naghihirap. Gamitin natin ang pagkakataong ito upang magkaisa sa pagpili ng pamumunong tapat at sapat sa ating layunin na ang ating bansa ay maging maayos, masagana at mapayapa.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF HUGPONG NG PAGBABAGO ON THE RE-ASSUMPTION OF MAYOR SARA Z. DUTERTE AS HNP CHAIRPERSON

Davao City Mayor Sara Z. Duterte is once again the Chairperson of Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) after she took her oath earlier today, 19 November 2021.

Last November 11, Mayor Sara officially became a member of Lakas-CMD, and was humbly offered their Party's chairmanship, which she accepted yesterday. We are very grateful for the enormous trust and opportunity afforded by Lakas-CMD to Mayor Sara, whom we describe as one of the country’s best political women leaders of her time.

Mayor Sara’s re-appointment as our Chairperson became possible as both parties’ Constitution and By-Laws do not prohibit membership and appointment as officer, since HNP is a regional political party.

Lastly, Mayor Sara’s role as concurrent Chairperson of both HNP and Lakas-CMD will further strengthen the alliance between the two parties. An alliance that will promote a strong people-centered development throughout Davao Region and the Philippines.

On behalf of the officers and members of HNP throughout Davao region, we welcome back our beloved Mayor Sara. Padayon ta sa paglupad!

JUST IN | Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte elected as the new Chairperson of Lakas-CMD Party at 1:12PM, November 18, 2021.

Sa lahat ng aking mga taga-suporta, pati na po sa mga miyembro ng media -- nakikiusap po ako sa inyo na sana ay huwag na kayong mag-camp-out sa labas ng Comelec. Nakikiusap din ako sa mga nasa probinsiya na huwag kayo bumiyahe papunta Manila nandito lang po ako sa Davao City dahil sa sunod-sunod na pag-ulan at pagbaha.

Sa aking mga supporters, humahanga po ako sa tibay ng inyong puso. Sa mga kasapi naman ng media, humahanga rin ako sa inyong dedikasyon sa trabaho.

Hindi na kailangan mag-camp-out pa dahil meron pang pandemya at ayoko kayong magkasakit. Ulan at init ng araw ang inyong kalaban. Isipin nyo rin po sana ang kalagayan ng inyong mga pamilya.

Magbibigay po ang mga spokesperson ng opisyal na pahayag, magbibigay po ng mga picture at video para sa inyo lahat.

Patuloy nating mahalin ang ating bansang Pilipinas. Daghang salamat.
