On September 16, 2025, the energy was electric at Zamboanga del Sur National High School as WMSU-AREC brought the Youth Empowerment for a Renewable Energy Future campaign to life once again! 💡🌏

Students didn’t just learn about renewable energy, they lived it. Through the interactive “Energy Freeze” game, they showcased their creativity and understanding of RE sources with poses that captured the power of solar, wind, hydro, and more! 🌀☀️💧

From laughter-filled learning to insightful exchanges, this batch brought a whole new level of excitement and imagination to the campaign. Their energy, curiosity, and teamwork reminded us why youth engagement is key to building a sustainable future. 🙌♻️

On March 26, 2025, the Affiliated Renewable Energy Center (AREC) proudly held its fifth Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Campaign at Baliwasan Senior High School- Stand Alone

This impactful event highlighted the promotion of renewable energy resources, fostering awareness and inspiring action toward a more sustainable future. 🌏⚡️

The campaign was attended by a remarkable group of students and teachers, whose enthusiasm and insights truly made this event memorable. By far, this batch has been the most intelligent group of students we've had the pleasure to engage with—showcasing their impressive curiosity, analytical skills, and commitment to learning. 💡🎓

Our unstoppable WMSU AREC Team has done it again! On March 11 and 12, 2025, we had the privilege of conducting another Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign—this time at Lutiman National High School and Kawayan National High School, both located in the vibrant Municipality of Alicia, Zamboanga Sibugay 🎓✨

It was an unforgettable two days packed with enlightening lectures and incredible energy (literally and figuratively!) as we engaged with senior high school students, their dedicated educators, and supportive school leaders. 🌿🔋 From exploring cutting-edge renewable technologies to understanding how sustainable practices can transform our communities, the enthusiasm was electric! ⚡💡

These brilliant young minds are now more inspired and equipped to lead the charge toward a greener and brighter future for us all. 🌱🌟 A huge thank you to Lutiman NHS 303826 and Kawayan NHS Gallery for the warm welcome and active participation—you’ve proven that the seeds of change truly begin in our classrooms. 💚✨

Our WMSU AREC Team recently visited Guintolan National High School on February 19, 2025 for another incredible Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign! 🎓🌍 We had the honor of sharing our passion for renewable energy with 40 brilliant senior high school students, along with their dedicated teachers and the supportive principal. 🚀🌿

It was an eye-opening day filled with engaging discussions and a shared vision for a greener and more sustainable region. 🌱🔋 From the exploration of innovative technologies to the importance of sustainable practices, our students are now equipped with knowledge that empowers them to become future champions of renewable energy! 💡🌟

On January 22, 2025, WMSU-AREC successfully conducted its first IEC campaign on Renewable Energy Promotion at Diplahan National High School, as part of the second year of the AREC Project implementation! 🎉✨

A massive shoutout to the 60 enthusiastic senior high school students and their dedicated teachers who attended the event. 🙌💡 Together, we explored the basics of Renewable Energy and delved into important RE policies that are shaping our future. 🌍🔋
