The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) warns the public regarding reports of an individual falsely impersonating the Commandant of the Philippine Coast Guard (CPCG) through phone call.
The PCG clarifies that these phone calls are fraudulent and unauthorized. The CPCG does not engage in such communications for personal, financial, or unofficial purposes, nor does he solicit monetary assistance through calls or any other means.
All PCG personnel are likewise reminded to exercise vigilance and refrain from engaging with or responding to unverified calls that may compromise the integrity and credibility of the organization.
The PCG is currently coordinating with concerned authorities to investigate the incident and to pursue appropriate legal action against those responsible.
The PCG reiterates its commitment to protecting the public and upholding trust by ensuring the dissemination of accurate and verified information.

ππ’π’π: Commo Rejard V Marfe PCG, Commander, Coast Guard District Southwestern Mindanao, attended the convening ceremony of the Coast Guard Non-Officersβ Course Class 120 2026βcomposed of 687 male traineesβon 24 March 2026 at the Regional Training Center (RTC) Zamboanga, Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone Authority and Freeport, Sinubong, Zamboanga City.
Vice Admiral Tito Alvin G Andal PCG, Commander, Coast Guard Education, Training and Doctrine Command (CGETDC), presided over the ceremony and entrusted LCDR Argie B Lubon PCG, Director, RTC Zamboanga, and LTJG Tristan Joseph P Zulueta PCG, Course Director, CGNOC Class 120 2026, to instill discipline, resilience, and the Philippine Coast Guard core values.
Also present were Capt Anuar G Inidal PCG, Deputy Commander, CGDSWM, alongside other officers and stakeholders who supported this milestone marking the formation of the new Coast Guardians.

The visit highlighted the value of inter-agency cooperation, strengthening PCGβAFP ties in protecting the nationβs maritime frontiers.
