"BFP Achieves Flawless COA Approval with a Perfect Score in FY 2022

In a remarkable achievement, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) received an unqualified opinion from the Commission on Audit (COA) for the fiscal year 2022, securing a flawless score of 20. According to the COA, the report released is based on the Financial Management Performance Rating, stemming from the financial audit conducted during the 2022 period, led by Director Michael R. Bacani of Cluster 4, Defense and Security. The COA report highlights the BFP's impressive score of 93 percent, marking it as outstanding compared to its initial Financial Performance Rating report. Notably, the COA had previously endorsed the BFP’s initiatives to establish a modernization program aligned with contemporary standards.

BFP attains unblemished COA opinion with perfect score in FY 2022 In a significant milestone, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) achieved an unqualified opinion from the Commission on Audit (COA) for the fiscal year 2022, securing a perfect score of 20.
