𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥: 𝙈𝙚𝙩𝙧𝙤 𝙕𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙍𝙊𝙏𝘾’𝙨 8𝙩𝙝 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙖𝙮

The Metro Zampen College Incorporated ROTC Affiliate under the supervision of Lt. Col Husain A Esmael (INF) PA, Commandant successfully conducted its 8th Training Day with the objective of strengthening the cadets’ understanding of military values, discipline, and leadership at CETA Parade Ground, Camp Enrile, Malagutay, Zamboanga City on October 04, 2026.

The training day provided an opportunity for the cadets to develop not only their physical preparedness but also the proper attitude and character expected of future leaders.

The activity started with a formation, where the cadets assembled in an orderly manner and prepared themselves for the day’s activities. Following the formation, the cadets attended a lecture on Military Courtesy and Discipline by Sgt Roldan G Magtagad (AGS) PA, highlighted the significance of showing proper respect to superiors, fellow cadets, and other members of the organization. The lecture continued with a discussion on Military Leadership, focusing on the qualities and responsibilities of an effective leader.

As the training day concluded, the cadets were encouraged to carry the lessons they learned into their daily lives. The knowledge and values gained from the activity will serve as a foundation for their continued development as disciplined, responsible, and service-oriented future leaders.

In providing the cadets with another meaningful opportunity to strengthen their discipline, skills, and understanding of military responsibilities, the Metro Zampen College Incorporated ROTC Affiliate under the supervision of Lieut. Col. Husain A Esamel (InF) PA successfully conducted its 7th Training Day on September 27, 2026 at CETA Parade Ground, Camp Arturo T Enrile, Malagutay, Zamboanga City

The training began with formation and Manual of Arms, focusing on the proper handling and ex*****on of prescribed movements with their training ri**es.
The practical activities were followed by a lecture on the Military Justice System, delivered by Sergeant Roldan G. Magtagad, Admin NCO, highlighting how military justice helps maintain order, discipline, and professionalism within the armed forces.

With every training day, the Metro Zampen College Incorporated ROTC Affiliate continues to build cadets who are disciplined, responsible, and prepared to serve their community and country.

𝙈𝘾𝙕𝙄 𝙍𝙊𝙏𝘾 𝘾𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙩𝙨 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜

Another meaningful step in the development of discipline, leadership, knowledge, and military bearing among the cadets during the 6th Training Day of the Metro Zampen College Incorporated (MCZI) ROTC Affiliate under the supervision of Lt. Col. Husain A Esmael, Commandant. The training day consisted of practical exercises and classroom instruction designed to strengthen both the physical skills and character of the cadets.

The training day began with formation and manual of arms. Under the guidance of their training instructors, the cadets practiced proper formations, alignment, spacing, bearing, and performed the Manual of Arms, which involves a series of prescribed movements using the r***e.

Following the practical exercises, the cadets proceeded for a classroom instruction regarding the Organization of the AFP, Philippine Army History and AFP Code of Ethics by Sgt Roldan G Magtagad (AGS) PA, Admin NCO.

Overall, the training activities emphasized that ROTC training is not solely about learning military movements. It is also about developing discipline, leadership, responsibility, patriotism, and good character. Through consistent training and education, the MCZI ROTC cadets continue to build the knowledge and values necessary to become responsible citizens and individuals committed to serving their community and country.

On September 13, 2026, the Metro Zampen College Incorporated ROTC Unit under the leadership of Lt. Col. Husain A Esmael, Commandant composed of 26 Basic ROTC Cadets and 35 Standby Reserve personnel who are mostly ROTC Graduates from the said ROTC Unit attended the formation in connection with the 9RCDG-Wide Mustering of Standby Reserve at Headquarters, 905th CDC, Camp Arturo T Enrile, Malagutay, Zamboanga City.

Following the formation, a short dissemination conducted by Sgt Roldan G Magtagad (AGS) PA, Admin NCO to aware and inform the ROTC Cadets and Standby Reserve, the law in the constitution that ROTC is mandatory.

The said mustering is to verify also their current status, update personnel records, and assess the availability of those ROTC Graduates who are now included in the Standby Reserve for possible employment when circumstances require.

📢The Metro Zampen College Incorporated (MCZI) ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 4th Training Day of the 1st semester on September 6, 2026, at Camp Arturo T. Enrile, Malagutay, Zamboanga City.

The day began at 0700H with the stretching, accounting, and formation of basic cadets under the supervision of Lieut. Col. Husain A. Esmael (INF) PA, Commandant of the ROTCUs, assisted by Tactical NCOs and Advance Cadet Officers.

For this training day, Lt. Col. Esmael conducted a ROTC orientation where he explained the rules and regulations during the ROTC formation and introduced the ROTC Training staff.

After the orientation, the cadets proceeded to the field for drills and practical exercises, supervised by those dedicated to mastering fundamental military movements. specifically basic marching drill and the precise ex*****on of r***e drill. by the Advance Cadet Officers, Tactical NCOs. These activities aimed to strengthen their bearing, teamwork, and familiarity with commands.

At 1140H, the Advance Cadet Officers facilitated the signing of attendance. The training officially concluded at 1200H.

On August 15, 2026, the Metro Zampen College Incorporated (MCZI) ROTC Unit, actively participated in the 10th Blood Donation Activity, a simultaneous RESCOM, PA-Wide activity held in connection with the 43rd Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RESCOM, PA) Founding Anniversary.

The activity was conducted at Zamboanga Central School, Varela St., Barangay Zone 1, Zamboanga City, under the supervision of LTC Husain A Esmael (INF) PA, Commandant of the 905th CDC, assisted by other Tactical NCOs.

With the theme “Ang Inyong Matatag na Tagapag-buo ng Laang Kawal,” the activity highlighted the importance of service, unity, and volunteerism in helping those in need. The blood donation drive brought together ROTC cadets, Reservists, soldiers, and other participants who joined the activity in support of the community.

The participation of the ROTC cadets demonstrated their willingness to serve and contribute to a meaningful cause. Through this activity, they were able to show that service goes beyond training and discipline, but also includes extending help to others and being part of activities that can make a difference in the community.

The successful conduct of the blood donation activity also reflected the continued commitment of the Reserve Command, Philippine Army, together with its Reservists, ROTC cadets, and partner organizations, to promote the spirit of service and support the Filipino people.
