October 12, 2025 | Feast of Our Lady of the Pillar

Today, the City of Zamboanga honors Nuestra Señora La Virgen del Pilar, our patroness, who stands at the heart of the Hermosa Festival and all its events and activities. On this most important day, we visit the Blessed Mother at Fort Pilar expressing unity, devotion, and gratitude. We pray that she continues to guide and bless us as we navigate life’s challenges and joys.

The Ateneo de Zamboanga University is one with Zamboangueños on this Feast day of Our Lady of the Pillar. Through the spirit of Compañerismo, we enrich not just our faith, but also our culture and the bonds that unite us as a community. Under the maternal care of Our Lady, may we find peace, purpose, and spiritual fulfillment.
