Malacañang Declares 20 March 2026 a Regular Holiday in Observance of Eid’l Fitr
Malacañang today announced that Friday, 20 March 2026, has been declared a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of Eid’l Fitr.
The announcement was made as President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. joined by members of the Muslim community and leaders from across the country at the Grand Iftar in Malacañang, reaffirming the government’s respect for the traditions and contributions of Muslim Filipinos.
The declaration recognizes the significance of Eid’l Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, a period devoted to prayer, reflection, and fasting.
The Palace extends its greetings to the Muslim community in the Philippines and around the world as they prepare to celebrate Eid’l Fitr with their families and communities.

MUCHAS GRACIAS NATIONAL UNITY PARTY
Mabuhay Congressman Jerry Perez (2nd District, Zamboanga City)
“At this stage, the NUP has not seen the inclusion of new and material evidence that would warrant a departure from issues that have already been the subject of prior inquiries and extensive public hearings,” saad ng NUP sa isang pahayag nitong Miyerkules, Pebrero 25.
(via Jilliane Libunao)
