CGDSWM JOINS MARCHA DE LAS MUJERES: PURPLE WALK FOR A CAUSE
Women of the Coast Guard District Southwestern Mindanao participated in a purple walk for a cause to celebrate National Women's Month with the theme "Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress" today 7th March 2024.
Currently, women constitute 20% of the Coast Guard workforce and work in non-traditional roles such as law enforcement, environmental protection, intelligence and security operations, search and rescue, community services, and humanitarian endeavors.
