Reservist personnel from the 933rd Marine Company Reserve and 611st Naval Squadron Reserve actively participated in the Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) Training conducted by the MDRRMO Bongao, Tawi-Tawi from 30 March to 01 April 2026 at Gloria Hall, H2MBde, MBDD, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.
The training aimed to enhance the capability, preparedness, and responsiveness of participating personnel in effectively managing disaster situations and emergency operations. It covered essential topics such as disaster risk reduction, emergency response coordination, basic life-saving procedures, and community-based disaster management.

The Naval Reserve Center โ Western Mindanao successfully conducted a Donning of Ranks Ceremony for its newly promoted officers and enlisted personnel on 26 March 2026 at the HNRCen-WM Conference Room, NSRH, Brgy. Rio Hondo, Zamboanga City.
The ceremony was led by CAPT WENDELBOY Z BUNTAG PN(GSC), Commander, Naval Reserve Center โ Western Mindanao, who graced the occasion and personally witnessed the significant milestone in the careers of the promoted personnel. His presence underscored the importance of the event and the organizationโs recognition of the hard work, dedication, and commitment of its members.

The 612th NROTC Unit of Notre Dame of Jolo College successfully held its closing ceremony of Basic NROTC on 22 March 2026 at Bishop Ben Hall, Notre Dame of Jolo College, Gandusali Street, Jolo, Sulu.
The ceremony was presided by LCDR FELIPE L ANDRINO JR PN, Assistant Commandant of 612th NROTCU โ Norte Dame of Jolo College as the Keynote Speaker, who delivered an inspiring message highlighting the importance of discipline, patriotism, and commitment to service. He commended the cadets for their dedication and perseverance throughout the training, encouraging them to uphold the values they have learned as they continue their journey as responsible citizens and future leaders.

ROTC cadets from the 610th NROTCU - ZPPSU Main Campus, 627th NROTCU - ZSCMST, and 627th NROTCU (Affiliated) Universidad de Zamboanga successfully participated in a shipboard tour aboard BRP Tarlac (LD601) last 22 March 2026.
The activity provided cadets with a valuable firsthand experience of naval operations, enhancing their understanding of maritime capabilities and the vital role of naval vessels in national defense and security. During the tour, cadets were given the opportunity to explore various sections of the vessel, including its operational areas, equipment, and facilities, while gaining insights from ship personnel on shipboard functions and protocols.

The Naval Reserve Center โ Western Mindanao successfully conducted the opening ceremony of the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Training for the members of the 61st Naval Group Reserve (NGR) and 93rd Marine Battalion Reserve (MBnR) last 08 March 2026.
The activity formally commenced with the aim of equipping reservists with essential life-saving skills and knowledge necessary in combat and emergency situations. The training focuses on providing immediate medical care under high-stress environments, ensuring that personnel are capable of managing casualties effectively while maintaining mission readiness.
