IN PHOTOS: The DICT Zamboanga, through its eGov PH Program, participated in the PESO Job Fair held on May 29, 2026, at KCC Mall de Zamboanga.
As part of its commitment to bringing government services closer to the public, DICT provided technical assistance to eGov PH App users and offered free printing, photocopying, and editing services for employment requirements to support job seekers throughout the event.
To further assist applicants, laptops from the ICT Literacy and Competency Development Bureau (ILCDB) were utilized for the preparation and editing of resumes and other employment documents. These resources enabled job seekers to conveniently complete their requirements and improve their readiness for potential employment opportunities.

CONNECTING FILIPINOS DIGITALLY | Continuing its commitment to connecting filipinos digitally, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT-IX) highlights its efforts to expand digital connectivity and inclusion during the “Kapihan sa DICT” media forum, marking the kickoff of National ICT Month and the agency’s 10th anniversary celebration.
The forum also unveiled DICT’s lineup of activities for the month-long observance and reaffirmed its commitment to bring digital services closer to communities, ensuring that no Filipino is left behind in the digital age.

Participants of the Quarterly Meeting of the Molave Municipal Tripartite Industrial Peace Council (TIPC) gained valuable insights on digital transformation during the learning session held on May 28, 2026, in Molave, Zamboanga del Sur.
During the learning session, participants were introduced to "20 Ways to Love Yourself Online," which highlighted cybersecurity awareness, responsible online behavior, and practical tips for staying safe in the digital space. They also explored "AI-Powered eBusiness: Maximizing Google Gemini Tools," demonstrating how Artificial Intelligence can be utilized to enhance productivity, communication, and business operations.
The session likewise featured the eGov PH Super App, showcasing how citizens can conveniently access various government services through a single digital platform, supporting the government's vision of a more efficient and accessible digital government.
The activity provided workers, employers, government representatives, and other stakeholders with relevant knowledge and practical tools to navigate the digital world safely and effectively.
Through initiatives such as this, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) continues to promote digital literacy, cybersecurity awareness, and the responsible adoption of emerging technologies across communities.

DICT Zamboanga conducted a Robotics Training session for kids on June 2, 2026, offering a fun and engaging introduction to basic robotics concepts in a child-friendly learning environment.
Young learners explored simple ideas in robotics, including basic coding, sensors, and how robots work, through easy-to-understand discussions and guided demonstrations designed to spark curiosity and creativity.
The session also featured hands-on activities where kids built and experimented with simple robotics tasks, helping them develop problem-solving skills, teamwork, and confidence while enjoying the learning experience.

SALUG, ZDN - The DICT Zamboanga del Norte Provincial office spearheaded the successful distribution of One-Hundred Seventy Three (173) Bayanihan SIM Cards to the learners and faculty of Sto. Niño Elementary School in Salug, Zamboanga del Norte. The distribution activity was held last May 21, 2026 at the Sto. Niño Elementary School covered court.
This initiative aims to bridge the digital connectivity gap in rural areas by providing free SIM cards with 25GB monthly data allocation to ensure learners have reliable access to communication and government digital services. By establishing this vital link, the program empowers families to support learning for their children, access online opportunities, and stay connected during emergencies.
The deployment of these connectivity tools reflects the ongoing commitment to universal internet access and the acceleration of e-governance initiatives across the archipelago.
