West Metro Medical Center continues to strengthen its commitment to community wellness beyond healthcare through meaningful partnerships that promote sustainability and empowerment.

West Metro Medical Center formally entered into a partnership agreement with Costa Este IA Agriculture Cooperative under the 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 (𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗛𝗣) 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 of the Department of Social Welfare and Development - DSWD, in collaboration with the National Irrigation Administration Region IX last May 14, 2026.

This milestone proudly marks West Metro Medical Center as the first private hospital in Region IX to directly purchase agricultural products from Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), creating a sustainable connection between healthcare and local agriculture.

Through this partnership, West Metro supports local farmers by providing reliable market opportunities while ensuring the availability of fresh and nutritious food for patients and clientele. More than a collaboration, this initiative reflects a shared vision of strengthening food security, empowering communities, and promoting inclusive and sustainable growth across the region.

West Metro Medical Center proudly brought together employees, their families, partners, and members of the community last May 23, 2026 for 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 Year 2 as part of its 11th Anniversary Celebration, a meaningful movement that reminds us that wellness is not about rushing, but about choosing to move forward consistently and intentionally.

Walk for Wellness highlights that health and well-being are journeys best embraced at a steady pace. Walking creates space for everyone to participate, connect, and enjoy each moment while caring for both body and mind. It is a simple act that promotes balance, mindfulness, and togetherness, proving that every small step matters.
