Kasama ang ating mga kapatid sa BFP at PNP, mabilis na kumilos ang DILG upang agad makapaghatid ng tulong at suporta sa ating mga kababayang tinamaan ng lindol sa Cebu. Sa pangunguna ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., patuloy ang pamahalaan sa pagbibigay ng agarang ayuda at sa pagtiyak na walang Pilipinong maiiwan sa panahon ng sakuna. Sa panahon ng matinding pagsubok, nasusukat ang tunay na lakas ng Pilipino sa bilis ng pagtugon at sa pagkakapit-bisig ng bawat isa. Hindi kayo nag-iisa. Ang buong bansa ay nakikiisa sa inyo. Padayon, mga Sugbuanon. Mag-uban ta sa pagbangon. #DILGNatin

Bago pa man maramdaman ang hagupit ng Bagyong #OpongPH, agad nang kumilos ang ating mga lokal na opisyal sa Masbate, alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na tiyaking ligtas at handa ang bawat Pilipino sa harap ng sakuna. Mula sa maagap na pagpapa-evacuate hanggang sa mabilisang pamamahagi ng ayuda, sama-sama nilang tiniyak na ligtas at handa ang bawat komunidad. Sa gitna ng unos, muling pinatunayan ng mga Masbateño at ng sambayanang Pilipino na ang pagkakaisa ang ating pinakamatibay na sandigan.
