𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐫 𝐑𝐚𝐡𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐫 𝐑𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐦. 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐤𝐮𝐦, 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐨!
Alhamdulillah. I thank Allah SWT for the peaceful elections that transpired in my home province of Tawi-Tawi and throughout the Bangsamoro. While there were irregularities that we cannot simply set aside, I am grateful that, overall, our people were able to exercise their right to vote peacefully and freely.
To the 𝟓𝟏𝟓,𝟐𝟕𝟎 𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐫, 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞, 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐫, 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐰𝐢-𝐓𝐚𝐰𝐢 – 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐭. 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐬𝐮𝐤𝐮𝐥 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧.
You rallied behind me, believed in my candidacy, and shared with me the dream of a better, more peaceful, and more prosperous Bangsamoro.
Binuksan niyo ang inyong mga tahanan, tinanggap ako sa inyong mga komunidad, ibinahagi ang inyong mga kuwento, mga pagsubok, at mga pag-asa. You gave me not only your votes, but something far more precious – 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭.
For that, 𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢 𝐤𝐨 𝐤𝐚𝐲𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐧.

𝐒𝐮𝐤𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐤𝐨𝐫, 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨, sa landon ah ini pailay nuh ah kakalimo engu suporta sa aki.
𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐬𝐮𝐤𝐮𝐫, 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧, si pagtengge bi si aku election itu. Tinabang weh bi ku manamal si kabaya tebi mettad aa pulu si position itu.
𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐬𝐮𝐤𝐮𝐥, 𝐓𝐚𝐰𝐢-𝐓𝐚𝐰𝐢, 𝐡𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐤𝐮 𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐧. Tindugan niyu aku ha waktu nanlagi aku kanyu. In pagkasila ku kanyu in sabab sin pag dagan ku election ini.
𝐓𝐚𝐰𝐢-𝐓𝐚𝐰𝐢, 𝐥𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐡 𝐤𝐮. Kaam iya lahat panagnaan bang mingga ley mag start tiggan. Kaam iya parsababan bang angey aku masi masi pabalik min serbisyo.
Ni disu pa disu nusa, ni disu pa disu barangay, nisi kamimon bay ngahongan aku — magsuku ni bay aseh maka pangando bi niyaku.
Nagmula ang aking paglalakbay sa pampublikong serbisyo noong 1993. I have devoted my whole life and my whole heart to serving the Bangsamoro people.
From serving as an Assemblywoman, as Secretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development of the ARMM, as Vice Governor, and eventually as Congresswoman of the Lone District of Tawi-Tawi, life has taken me through many different roads.
But through all these years, one thing has remained constant:
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐨.
As one of the key authors of the 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐨 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐚𝐰, I have witnessed a dream that once seemed so distant become a reality. I have seen the long years of struggle, dialogue, sacrifice, and hope lead us to where we are today.
And today, I feel a deep sense of gratitude.
The peace process has moved forward.
The Bangsamoro's right to self-determination has been exercised.
Our people have been given the opportunity to choose their leaders.
And most importantly, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐨 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧.
To the newly elected Members of Parliament: 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐚 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦.
You now carry on your shoulders the hopes of generations who have long prayed for peace, dignity, justice, development, and a better future for their children. Serve with humility. Listen to our people. Remember the communities farthest from the centers of power. And never forget that the Bangsamoro dream was built through the sacrifices of those who came before us.

I will continue to carry the stories of the mothers who only want a better future for their children.
The dreams of our youth who deserve opportunities.
The hopes of our farmers, fisherfolk, workers, women, and communities in our farthest islands.
And the aspirations of a people who have waited generations for peace and dignity.
𝐌𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐨 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐭.

May Allah SWT accept all our efforts, forgive our shortcomings, guide our leaders, protect our people, and grant us the wisdom and courage to work together in peace and harmony.
May we continue building a Bangsamoro where our children can dream bigger than we did, where our women can lead without barriers, where our communities can prosper, and where peace is not merely an agreement on paper but a reality in the lives of our people.
