Today on 18.03.2026 the Secretary RTA Hazara conducted a joint visit with Traffic Police to various D-Class stand in Haripur City to monitor the implementation of Fare and availability of public transport and basic amenities.

📢 *عوامی آگاہی برائے خیبر پختونخوا رائٹ ٹو پبلک سروسز ایکٹ (RTS Act 2014)*

خیبر پختونخوا رائٹ ٹو پبلک سروسز ایکٹ 2014 کا مقصد شہریوں کو سرکاری خدمات تک بروقت، شفاف اور معیاری رسائی دینا ہے۔ اس ایکٹ کے تحت مختلف شعبہ جات کی 80 سے زائد سرکاری خدمات کے لیے واضح مقررہ وقت (Timeframe) اور ذمہ دار افسران (Designated Officers) مقرر کیے گئے ہیں۔

اگر کسی شہری کو کسی بھی RTS نوٹیفائیڈ سروس میں:
✔ تاخیر ہو رہی ہو
✔ سروس فراہم نہ کی جا رہی ہو
✔ غیر ضروری رکاوٹ یا مشکل پیش آ رہی ہو

تو شہری کو مکمل حق حاصل ہے کہ وہ اپنی شکایت RTS کمیشن میں درج کروا سکے اور کیس پر فوری کارروائی ہو سکے۔

Secretary Regional Transport Authority Abbottabad conducted road checking in various areas of District Abbottabad. During the inspection, the fare structure on different routes, route permits, and fitness certificates of public transport vehicles were thoroughly examined. Legal action was taken against violators, and challans were issued accordingly.

Checked CNG vehicle Stand Haripur along with MVE and Traffic Police Haripur and found;
1. Fare rate list was not displayed near the Counter on visible place.
2. ⁠Toilets were unhygienic.
3. ⁠CCTV cameras were not functioning.
4. ⁠cleanliness was not up to mark.
Traffic police were directed to take legal action U/s 112 in case of overcharging & U/s 116 of MVO 1965 against the violators.
Notice is being issued to the Vehicle Stand Proprietor to ensure the display of fare rate list on visible place for information of general public and improve the basic amenities in the Stand as per policy of Privincial Government, otherwise strict legal action will be taken against him as per law.

Secretary RTA inspected the General Bus Stand Abbottabad regarding provision of basic amenities and communicated deficiencies to TMO Abbottabad for corrective measures at the earliest.
