Inauguration ceremony of the Cholistan Desert Rally-2026 was successfully held today. The event was graced by Musarat Jabeen, Commissioner Bahawalpur along with the Syed Tariq Mahmood Bokhari, MD CDA

Managing Director, Cholistan Development Authority (CDA), Syed Tariq Mahmood Bukhari, chaired a review meeting of the Engineering Wing to assess the current condition and ongoing works related to water supply schemes and road infrastructure, including repair and maintenance of main roads and their shoulders.
During the meeting, detailed briefing was given on the present status of water supply pipe lines, including issues related to repair, rehabilitation, and routine maintenance. The Managing Director emphasized ensuring uninterrupted water supply to the residents of Cholistan and directed the concerned officers to expedite repair works and improve operational efficiency.
The meeting also reviewed the repair and maintenance of main roads and road shoulders in Cholistan area. Instructions were issued to prioritize damaged road sections and shoulders and ensure timely completion of maintenance works to facilitate safe and smooth transportation.
Syed Tariq Mahmood Bukhari stressed the importance of quality workmanship, effective supervision, and regular monitoring.
The Managing Director reaffirmed CDA’s commitment to improving basic infrastructure and providing better public services across the Cholistan.

منیجنگ ڈائریکٹر سی ڈی اے سید طارق محمود بخاری نے آج چولستانیوں سے ملاقات کی اور اُن کے مسائل سنے۔ انہوں نے کالونائزیشن آفیسر سید عثمان حسن گیلانی کو ہدایت جاری کی کہ عوامی معاملات کو فوری اور ترجیحی بنیادوں پر حل کیا جائے، تاکہ چولستانیوں کو بروقت ریلیف فراہم ہو سکے۔

🌾 CDA Surpasses Assigned Wheat Cultivation Target — Outstanding Performance! 🌾
Punjab’s Minister for Agriculture, Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani, chaired a high-level review meeting on wheat cultivation at the Circuit House, Bahawalpur, reviewing the progress of ongoing wheat sowing.
During the session, the Cholistan Development Authority (CDA) reported that it has not only achieved its assigned wheat cultivation target but has exceeded it by cultivating wheat on 281,000 acres, demonstrating exceptional field performance.
MD CDA Syed Tariq Mehmood Bukhari attended the meeting and briefed the Minister on CDA’s overall progress and initiatives.
Later today, MD CDA held a meeting with CDA Revenue Officers. He appreciated their dedication in surpassing the assigned target and urged them to continue working with the same commitment, especially on abiyana, revenue recovery, and other revenue-related tasks.
He emphasized transparency, efficiency, and proactive field monitoring to further enhance public service delivery.
CDA management reaffirmed its strong determination to achieve all upcoming targets with full dedication and teamwork. 💪🌱

منیجنگ ڈائریکٹر نے موقع پر ہی عوامی درخواستیں متعلقہ عملے کو فوری کارروائی کے لیے مارک کیں .
منیجنگ ڈائریکٹر نے افسران و عملے کو ہدایت کی کہ عوامی مسائل کے فوری اور مؤثر حل کو یقینی بنایا جائے تاکہ خدمتِ خلق اور شفافیت کے اصولوں پر عمل ہو سکے۔

A meeting is held under the chairmanship of the Managing Director, Cholistan Development Authority (CDA) regarding the implementation of instructions issued by the Board of Revenue (BOR) Lahore. The agenda focused on ensuring transparency, accountability, improved public service delivery, and institutional efficiency.
Key matters discussed included:
✅ Implementation and establishment of Arazi Record Centre in Cholistan.
✅ Strengthening of front desk operations for effective public facilitation.
✅ Protection of rights of poor Cholistanis and issuance of warrants of qabza to new allottees.
✅ Digitization of CDA record to ensure transparency and modern governance.
Senior officers of CDA attended the meeting and reaffirmed their commitment to implement the given directives in letter and spirit.
