5th Board of Directors (BoD) Meeting

The 5th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Koh-E-Suleman Development Authority (KSDA) was held under the chairmanship of Sardar Ahmad Khan Leghari, Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) PP-291 and Chairperson KSDA.

During the meeting, Director General KSDA, Sir Babar Bashir, gave a comprehensive briefing on the agenda items placed before the Board. A detailed progress review of ongoing development schemes was also presented.

Key highlights of the meeting included discussions on:

Auction of Fort Munro market cafeterias

KSDA staff hostel development

Road infrastructure projects

Overall development of Koh-e-Suleman and Fort Munro

The Chairperson emphasized the importance of promoting eco-tourism in the region. Fort Munro, being the only tourist hill station in South Punjab, holds great potential for sustainable tourism development. The Board expressed its commitment to ensuring the area's growth through well-planned, eco-friendly initiatives.

The meeting concluded with a firm assurance to accelerate efforts for the holistic development of Koh-e-Suleman and Fort Munro, aiming to transform the region into a premier tourist destination in Southern Punjab.
