Our abstract of case report from plastic surgery department won first position at 11th AKU surgical conference held at agha Khan university between 1-2nd April, 2026.

A baby with "large swelling greater than his head". We were sitiining in opd. Parents with a baby arrived in neurosurgrey opd DG khan medical college. And asked we have baby with two heads. Baby was examined and there was huge encephalocoele .ALHAMDULILLAH He was opertaed with excelent outcome.

Under Section 25 of the PM&DC Act-2022, our institution is now authorized to offer specialized training in a wide range of medical and surgical fields, including:
MS Programs: Anesthesia, General Surgery, Gynecology & Obstetrics, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Pediatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Urology.
MD Programs: Radiology, Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Pulmonology, and Cardiology.

Important Visit & High-Level Meeting at D.G. Khan Medical College

Today, Provincial Minister for Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education, Khawaja Salman Rafique, alongside Azmat Mahmud, Secretary of the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, along with the Deputy Commissioner of D.G. Khan, visited D.G. Khan Medical College and Allama Iqbal Teaching Hospital (AITH), Dera Ghazi Khan.

During the visit, key discussions were held regarding:
