The Hon’ble Chief Justice of Gilgit-Baltistan, Justice Mr. Ali Baig, along with the Hon'ble Judge Banking & Customs Court / DG Judicial Academy & IT Mr. Ghulam Abbas Chopa and other esteemed judges of District & Session and Civil Court Nagar, inaugurated the Copy & Scanning Branch (CSMS) at the District & Sessions Courts, Nagar.

The Hon’ble Chief Justice highlighted that ensuring timely, transparent, and affordable justice remains the judiciary’s foremost priority, calling this initiative a historic milestone for the region.

Despite limited resources, the Chief Court has successfully launched a digital system to scan and preserve all case records—both pending and decided. The CSMS was developed in-house by the IT Team of GB Chief Court, led by Mr. Muhammad Ilyas (IT In-Charge), Mr. Shoukat Hussain (Senior Software Engineer), and Mr. Hussain Ali Khan Maqpoon (Software Engineer).
