⏰ Important Notice

The deadline for submission of hard copies of the required documents for the Gilgit-Baltistan Educational Endowment Fund (GBEEF) has been extended until 11 June 2026.

Applicants are requested to submit all required documents as outlined in the notice published on 21 May 2026 on this official page.

Please ensure that your documents are submitted before the extended deadline

📢 Attention all GB candidates:

🎓GILGIT-BALTISTAN EDUCATIONAL ENDOWMENT FUND SCHOLARSHIP
The provisional general Random list of applicants who applied for the GBEEF Scholarship has been uploaded (link below). It has been observed that a majority of applicants have not uploaded the required documents as per the prescribed requirements. Furthermore, students studying in private colleges/universities are not eligible as per the policy. Therefore, the names of such students appearing in the list will be excluded from the upcoming merit list.

⏰All applicants are directed to submit the hard copies of the required documents on or before 7th June 2026 at the Directorate of Higher Education Colleges, Sakwar Gilgit, and the DD Office, Directorate of Higher Education, Skardu. Applicants who fail to submit the required documents by the due date will be excluded from the upcoming merit list.

🎓For Intermediate-Level
1. As per the policy, only students of Government Colleges within the territorial boundaries of Gilgit-Baltistan are eligible for GBEEF. Therefore, such students may be excluded from the list, and if any are found in the list after verification, they will also be excluded from the upcoming merit list
2. Attested copies of the previous year/all semester results are required from the concerned college/university admission section.
3. Attested copy of the admission fee receipt is required from the concerned college/university admission section.
4. Students whose bank accounts are not in their own name or in the name of their father are required to provide the details of a bank account in their own name or their father’s name to this office.
5. The bank account must be IBAN-enabled.

🎓For Undergraduate-Level
1. As per the policy, only students of Government Colleges/Universities are eligible for GBEEF. Therefore, students studying in private colleges/universities are not eligible and may be excluded from the list.

GCU LAHORE based on SSC-I/II

⏰The last date for submission of applications for nomination against Intermediate quota seats for Gilgit-Baltistan at Government College University Lahore has been extended till 20th May 2026..

Nominations are now open for reserved quota seats in the Intermediate Part-I at the ''GCU Lahore'' for the 2026–27 academic session.

📄 Submission Requirements:
After completing the online nomination application on the Directorate’s official website (link given below), applicants must submit:
* 📝 Printed copy of the generated nomination form
* 📑 Attested supporting documents

GCU Lahore Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidates who passed Class IX (with a minimum of 60% marks) in 2025 and have appeared in the Annual examination of Class X in 2026 are eligible to apply.
2. Candidates who have already passed the Matriculation examination may also apply, provided they are not registered for, nor have appeared in, Intermediate Part-I examination at any Board of intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE).
3. Selected candidates must pass the Class X Annual Examination 2026; failing which, their admission shall stand cancelled.
4. In case of Failure in Class X, the candidate shall be removed from the University roll, and no fee shall be refunded.
5. To be eligible, applicants must have done their schooling from the institution situated in Gilgit-Baltistan.
6. The candidates must not be above 18 years of age on the last date of the receipt of applications.
7. A valid domicile certificate must be submitted along with the application.

گلگت بلتستان کے گورنمنٹ کالجز کی تعلیمی آڈٹ کی کامیابی سے انجام دہی

گلگت (پریس ریلیز): سابق چیف سیکریٹری گلگت بلتستان ابرار احمد مرزا اور سیکریٹری ہائیر، ٹیکنیکل اینڈ اسپیشل ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ گلگت بلتستان فرید احمد کی خصوصی ہدایات اور باقاعدہ نوٹیفکیشن کے تحت "اکیڈمک آڈٹ کمیٹی" نے گلگت بلتستان کے منتخب گورنمنٹ کالجز کا اکیڈمک آڈٹ خوش اسلوبی سے پایہء تکمیل تک پہنچایا۔

اس اہم اکیڈمک آڈٹ کا مقصد جن کالجز کے انٹرمیڈیٹ کے سالانہ امتحانات کے نتائج بہتر نہ تھے۔ اُن غیر تسلی بخش رزلٹس کے عوامل کو سامنے لانا، مختلف ٹولز کے ذریعے ان عوامل کا تجزیہ کرنا اور کالجز کے بہتر رزلٹس اور معیارِ تعلیم کو اعلیٰ خطوط پر استوار کرنے کے لیے ٹھوس اور قابلِ عمل تجاویز، رپورٹس اور پریزنٹیشنز مرتب کر کے سیکریٹری اور چیف سیکریٹری کو پیش کرنا شامل تھا تاکہ ان پر عمل درآمد سے مقاصد کا حصول ممکن ہو سکے۔ اس اکیڈمک آڈٹ کے لیے دو کالجز ایسے بھی چُنے گئے جن کا سالانہ امتحان بہت بہتر تھا۔ ایسے کالجز کو اس اسٹڈی کا حصّہ بنانے کا مقصد سالانہ امتحان اور رزلٹ کا موازنہ و تجزیہ کرنا تھا۔ ایک کالج ایسا بھی منتخب کیا گیا جہاں اسٹوڈنٹس کا داخلہ نہ ہونے کے برابر تھا تاکہ وہاں داخلہ بڑھایا جا سکے اور کالج کو کامیابی سے ہم کنار کیا سکے۔

اکیڈمک آڈٹ کمیٹی میں ڈاکٹر خالد اشرف اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر گورنمنٹ ڈگری کالج سکردو (چیئرمین), فضل کریم اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر گورنمنٹ انٹر کالج بسین گلگت (ممبر), اشتیاق احمد یاد ڈپٹی سیکریٹری (ڈویلپمنٹ اینڈ کوآرڈینیش) ہائیر، ٹیکنیکل اینڈ اسپیشل ایجوکیشن (ممبر)، عابدہ انور، ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر (اکیڈمسک) ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف ہائیر ایجوکیشن (ممبر)، اعجاز علی اسسٹنٹ منیجر، پروفیشنل ڈویلپمنٹ سینٹر نارتھ (پی ڈی سی این/آغا خان یونیورسٹی) (ممبر) اور تنویر احمد خان، اسسٹنٹ ڈائریکٹر، نومینیشن، ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف ہائیر ایجوکیشن (ممبر) شامل تھے۔

جن چُنیدہ کالجز میں یہ اکیڈمک آڈٹ عمل میں لایا گیا اُن میں گورنمنٹ انٹر کالج گوپس، گورنمنٹ انٹر کالج چٹور کھنڈ، گورنمنٹ انٹر کالج بسین، گورنمنٹ ڈگری کالج مناور گلگت، گورنمنٹ انٹر کالج ہرسپو نگر، گورنمنٹ ڈگری کالج چلاس اور گورنمنٹ ڈگری کالج تانگیر شامل تھے۔

اکیڈمک آڈٹ کی انجام دہی کے لیے کمیٹی کے ممبرز نے مؤثر منصوبہ بندی کو عمل میں لایا، بین الاقوامی معیار کے ڈیٹا کلیکشن ٹولز اور فوکس گروپ ڈسکشن ٹولز تیار کیے، سوالنامے ترتیب دیئے اور ان تمام ٹولز کو اعلیٰ پیشہ ورانہ انداز میں بروئے کار لاتے ہوئے ڈیٹا حاصل کیا۔ ساتھ ساتھ ضرورت کے تحت اسٹیک ہولڈرز سے بھی عمیق تبادلہء خیال کیا گیا۔ ڈیٹا کلیکشن کے بعد محنتِ شاقہ اور عرق ریزی سے ٹیکنیکل رپورٹس اور پریزنٹیشنز تیار کی گئیں۔

کمیٹی کے چیئرمین نے سیکریٹری فرید احمد کو پریزنٹیشن دی۔ اس موقع پر کمیٹی کے دیگر ممبرز بھی موجود تھے۔ پریزنٹیشن اور تمام اہم امور پر گفتگو کا دورانیہ تقریباً چھے گھنٹے رہا۔ پریزنٹیشن کے اختتام پر کمیٹی کے ممبرز نے باضابط طور پر رپورٹس سیکریٹری کو پیش کیں۔

بعدِ ازاں سیکریٹری فرید احمد کی ہدایات پر، اِن رپورٹس کی روشنی میں ٹھوس عملی اقدامات کیے گئے۔ اب یہ رپورٹس، کیے گئے اقدامات کی کاپیز اور نئے اقدامات کی منظوری کی گذارش سمیت موجودہ چیف سیکریٹری گلگت بلتستان ارشد مجید مہمند کو پیش کی جا رہی ہیں۔ جس کے نتیجے میں جی بی کے کالجز کے سالانہ امتحان کے نتائج بہتر ہو سکیں گے، پرائمری، مڈل، میٹرک اور انٹرمیڈیٹ کے سالانہ امتحانات میں ہونے والی نقل کا روک تھام ممکن ہو سکے گا اور معیارِ تعلیم اعلیٰ خطوط پر استوار کیا جا سکے گا۔

سیکریٹری فرید احمد نے اس تاریخ ساز کاوش کو اعلیٰ پیشہ ورانہ انداز میں اور محنتِ شاقہ سے پایہء تکمیل تک پہنچانے پر کمیٹی کے چیئرمین اور ممبرز کو شاندار الفاظ میں سراہا۔
