Honourable Mr. Hadyat Ullah Shah, Additional District & Sessions Judge-I, Gujranwala, and Presiding Officer, Child Protection Court, paid a surprise visit to the Child Protection Institution (CPI), Gujranwala.
During the visit, the Honourable Judge inspected the institutional facilities, reviewed arrangements for the residing children, and interacted with the children and staff. He also reviewed the provision of essential services, including education, healthcare, protection, care, and rehabilitation.
The visit reflected a continued commitment to ensuring a safe, secure, dignified, and child-friendly environment for children under institutional care.

The Honourable Judge expressed his satisfaction with the provision of essential services and the overall arrangements for the care, protection, education, healthcare, and rehabilitation of children at the institution. These services and the well-being of children are being ensured under the guidance and leadership of Chairperson MPA Sarah Ahmed (T.I) and Director General Rao Nadeem Akhtar.

Rescue Operation

On the directions of the Chairperson, CP&WB, MPA Sarah Ahmad (T.I.), and the Director General, CP&WB, the Rescue Team conducted rescue operation in various areas.
Vulnerable children were safely recovered and shifted to the Child Protection Institution for necessary care, protection, assessment, and rehabilitation in accordance with child protection laws and SOPs.

📢 Awareness Seminar | Child Protection Institution, Gujranwala

The Child Protection Institution (CPI) Gujranwala organized an informative and interactive awareness seminar for the residing children and staff of the institution, focusing on essential aspects of road safety, personal protection, health, hygiene, and well-being.

Representatives of the National Highways & Motorway Police sensitized the children and staff regarding traffic rules, road-safety measures, pedestrian safety, and responsible travel practices. The Health Department team provided valuable awareness on personal hygiene, preventive healthcare, nutrition, cleanliness, and healthy lifestyle practices.

The sessions provided an engaging platform for both residing children and institutional staff to enhance their knowledge and understanding of everyday safety and health measures.

Such initiatives play an important role in promoting a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for children and strengthening their overall protection, well-being, and positive development. 🌱

With the directions of the Chairperson, Child Protection & Welfare Bureau, MPA Sarah Ahmad (T.I) and Director General (CP&WB), the Rescue Team of Child Protection Institution Gujranwala conducted an operation in various areas of Gujrat City. During the operation, 10 children were recovered, including 08 boys and 02 girls.
All recovered children were immediately shifted to the Child Protection Institution, where they were provided with necessary care and protection.
Further assessment, documentation, and rehabilitation procedures are being carried out in accordance with child protection laws and standard operating procedures to safeguard their well-being.

جن حضرات کو اس بچی کے بارے میں کوئی معلومات ہوں یا جو کوئی بھی اس کے والدین/ورثاء کو جانتے ہوں، وہ فوری طور پر چائلڈ پروٹیکشن ویلفیئر بیورو سے رابطہ کریں تاکہ بچی کو اس کے حقیقی والدین/ورثاء سے ملایا جا سکے۔

📢 Child Protection Awareness Campaign | Gujranwala

In line with the vision of the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Punjab, Madam Maryam Nawaz, and under the dynamic leadership of Chairperson, Child Protection & Welfare Bureau Punjab, MPA Sarah Ahmad (T.I.), the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau Gujranwala successfully organized a Child Protection Awareness Session at Madrissah Zia Ul Quran Khiali Gujranwala.

The session engaged more than 75 students and faculty members, aiming to enhance awareness about children's rights, personal safety, and child safeguarding. Participants received practical guidance on recognizing and preventing child abuse, understanding the concepts of Good Touch and Bad Touch, identifying unsafe situations, and responding appropriately to potential risks.

The awareness programme also highlighted the role and services of the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau Punjab, emphasizing the importance of early reporting, seeking assistance from trusted adults, and using official child protection mechanisms whenever a child feels threatened or vulnerable. Interactive discussions encouraged active participation, helping children build confidence to speak up and protect themselves.

With the vision of Hon'ble Chief Minister Punjab, Madam Maryam Nawaz, and under the leadership of Chairperson, Child Protection & Welfare Bureau Punjab, MPA Sarah Ahmad (T.I.), the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau Gujranwala conducted a comprehensive child protection awareness session at Madrissah, Model Town, Gujranwala.
The awareness initiative brought together over 55 students and staff members to strengthen their understanding of children's rights and safety. The session covered essential topics including child abuse prevention, personal safety, child protection, and the concepts of Good Touch and Bad Touch.
Participants were educated about the mission and services of the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau, methods for identifying inappropriate behaviour, practical safety measures, and the importance of reporting abuse through appropriate channels. The interactive discussion encouraged children to communicate openly, trust responsible adults, and seek immediate support whenever they feel unsafe.
