Under the esteemed guidance of the Worthy Chairperson, Child Protection & Welfare Bureau, MPA Sarah Ahmad (T.I), and the Director General, the Child Protection Institution (CPI) Gujranwala successfully organized a comprehensive dental health camp for the residing children. The initiative aimed to promote oral health awareness and ensure timely identification and treatment of dental issues among the children.
The camp was conducted by Dr. Abu Bakar, who performed detailed dental examinations for all residing children. In addition to diagnosing various dental concerns, he prescribed necessary medications and provided practical guidance on maintaining proper oral hygiene. An interactive awareness session was also held, during which the children were educated about the importance of preventive dental care, healthy eating habits, and regular check-ups.
Particular emphasis was placed on instilling essential daily practices, especially brushing teeth twice a day-once in the morning before breakfast and again at night before sleeping. The session also highlighted the importance of proper brushing techniques and maintaining overall oral cleanliness to prevent common dental problems.
