Director FIA Hyderabad Zone visited FIA Composite Circle Mirpurkhas today 07-09-2026 and reviewed the overall performance of the Circle.

The Circle In-Charge and Investigation Officers were present during the visit.
The Director reviewed the progress of enquiries and cases and directed the Investigation Officers to expedite proceedings and ensure timely disposal. He also inspected the relevant official record and recorded remarks in Register No. 13 of the Police Station.

Good performance of the Circle was appreciated, while particular emphasis was placed on arrest of Proclaimed Offenders (POs) and registration of FIRs in cases where sufficient evidence is available.

The Director directed the officers to maintain high standards of professionalism and ensure effective and timely investigation of cases.

FIA Composite Circle Mirpurkhas has registered a case against officials of Khushhali Microfinance Bank Limited, Umerkot, for their alleged involvement in processing and disbursing an agricultural loan on the basis of fake agricultural passbooks.
The case was registered following Enquiry No. 25/2025, initiated on the complaint of Nand Lal.

During the enquiry, it was revealed that agricultural loan documents were allegedly processed without proper verification of ownership of agricultural land and the borrowers' engagement in farming. Consequently, Rs. 1 Million was disbursed against agricultural passbooks subsequently declared bogus/fake by the Mukhtiarkar Revenue Office.

The case has been registered, with the approval of Director FIA Hyderabad Zone, against 03 bank officials under Sections 409, 419, 420, 468, 471 and 109 PPC. Further investigation is underway.

FIA Hyderabad Zone reiterates its commitment to taking strict action against financial fraud, forgery and misuse of banking facilities.

Hyderabad, 04 September 2026: The officers were awarded Class-I Commendation Certificates (CC-I) by the Worthy Director General, FIA, in recognition of their commendable performance and dedication to their official duties. The Director, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Hyderabad Zone, distributed the certificates among officers of the FIA Hyderabad Zone in recognition of their outstanding performance, professionalism, and dedication to their official duties.

The certificates were formally presented by Syed Muhammad Wasi Hyder, PSP, Director, FIA Hyderabad Zone, to Masood Ahmed, Acting Deputy Director (Crime); Zubair Akbar Yousfani, Acting Deputy Director, Shaheed Benazirabad; Inspector Ramesh Kumar, FIA CC Hyderabad; Inspector Syed Hassan Jaffari, FIA CC Hyderabad; and Sub-Inspector Waqar Kalhoro, FIA CC Hyderabad.

The Director, FIA Hyderabad Zone, congratulated all the recipients and appreciated their professional competence, integrity, commitment, and dedication in the discharge of their official responsibilities. He encouraged the officers to continue maintaining high standards of professionalism, discipline, integrity, and public service.

Acting on a complaint received from HESCO, FIA Crime Circle Hyderabad conducted a raid at a water filtration plant in Daryabad Colony, Kotri, District Jamshoro, and arrested an accused for alleged electricity theft through an unauthorized direct/kunda connection.

During the raid, FIA and HESCO officials detected an illegal direct connection bypassing the sanctioned metering arrangement. The illegal connection and connected equipment were taken into possession.

FIR No. 25/2026 was registered under Sections 462-I & 462-K PPC. Further investigation is underway.
