Residential areas and garbage dumps cannot coexist.
The waste dumping point in Sector I-11, Islamabad is actively putting the health of families and children at risk.
We urge the Capital Development Authority - CDA, Islamabad and Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency "Pak-EPA" to take immediate action and permanently relocate this dumping station outside the city limits.
Protect our health. Save our environment. Relocate the dump now!

​The dumping site in Sector I-11, Islamabad is an escalating health catastrophe. Foul smell, toxic fumes, and stagnant sewage are choking the surrounding areas.

اسلام آباد کے سیکٹر I-11 میں فروٹ و سبزی منڈی کے قریب قائم کچرے کے ڈمپنگ پوائنٹ نے ایک بار پھر سنگین ماحولیاتی اور صحت کے خدشات پیدا کر دیے ہیں۔

حالیہ بارشوں کے بعد بدبو، گندا پانی اور جمع شدہ کچرا صورتحال کو مزید خراب کر رہے ہیں۔ افسوسناک بات یہ ہے کہ یہ جگہ رہائشی علاقوں، کاروباری مراکز اور سبزی و فروٹ منڈی کے قریب واقع ہے۔

اگر یہ ڈمپنگ پوائنٹ واقعی عارضی بنیادوں پر بنایا گیا تھا تو پھر یہ برسوں بعد بھی یہاں کیوں موجود ہے؟

Capital Development Authority - CDA, Islamabad سے سوال ہے:

کیا اس مقام کا باقاعدہ ماحولیاتی اور صحت کا جائزہ لیا گیا ہے؟ اگر نہیں، تو کب کیا جائے گا؟ اور شہریوں کو اس مستقل مسئلے سے نجات کب ملے گی؟

اسلام آباد کو صاف، محفوظ اور صحت مند شہر بنانا صرف دعووں سے نہیں، عملی اقدامات سے ممکن ہے۔

Capital Development Authority - CDA, Islamabad سی ڈی اے کی نامناسب منصوبہ بندی اور سبزی منڈی و میٹرو کیش اینڈ کیری کے قریب عارضی ڈمپنگ اسٹیشن نے Sector I-10 اور Sector I-11 کے رہائشیوں کی زندگی اجیرن کر دی ہے۔ بدبو، تعفن اور تعلیمی و صحتی مسائل سے نجات ہمارا بنیادی حق ہے۔
​ہماری اپیل ہے کہ اس غیر مناسب مقام سے کچرا کنڈی فوری منتقل کی جائے اور اسے ایک خوبصورت و صاف مقام میں تبدیل کیا جائے۔

🚨 Urgent Attention Needed: Waste Dumping in Sector I-11 🚨
The municipal waste dumping station in Sector I-11 has become a severe public health and environmental hazard for local residents. The open garbage accumulation creates unbearable odors, severe air pollution, and a breeding ground for pests and stray animals—putting our children and elderly at constant risk of health issues.
Placing a primary waste transfer site in the middle of a residential sector violates basic urban planning and environmental standards.
We urgently appeal to the Capital Development Authority - CDA, Islamabad and Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency "Pak-EPA" to relocate this dumping station away from Sector I-11 to a designated non-residential site and to ensure the current area is properly cleaned and disinfected.
