Cohort 5 just learned the difference between building and validating.

They just wrapped the transformative Design Thinking workshop at NIC Islamabad, and the energy is different.

What started as founders defending their ideas evolved into founders questioning their ideas. Day 1 forced the hard conversations: Are we solving a real problem or a problem we invented? Do users actually care?

By Day 2, the shift was obvious. Teams weren't pitching. They were listening. Real user interviews. Real feedback. Real validation.

And here's what happened: startups with confidence in their direction got even sharper. Startups doubting their direction got clarity. Some pivoted. Some doubled down. All of them left with data, not opinions.

The best part? Every prototype, every insight, every "How Might We" question is now grounded in reality not assumptions.

Cohort 5 ready to stop guessing and start knowing what customers actually want?
48 hours at NIC Islamabad. Prototype to validation.

NIC Islamabad is excited to host an intensive 2-Day Design Thinking Workshop for our incubated startups, a hands-on experience designed to push founders beyond ideas and into real-world validation.

Under the mentorship of Imran Khattak, Founder & CEO of GrayscaleLogic, startups will work through the complete ex*****on cycle: identifying problems, building prototypes, testing solutions with real customers, and gathering honest market feedback all within two high-energy days.

This is not a workshop built around theory slides and long discussions. It's about making fast decisions, building quickly, testing fearlessly, and learning directly from users.

Over 2 Days, founders will:
- Turn ideas into working prototypes
- Validate concepts with real customers
- Receive raw, unfiltered user feedback

We’re Hiring: Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer

Are you passionate about startups, innovation ecosystems, and program impact? Join our team and play a key role in supporting startup growth while ensuring program excellence and compliance.

Position: M&E Officer
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and evaluate project activities and incubation cohorts
• Ensure timely reporting and fulfilment of Ignite – National Technology Fund reporting requirements
• Work closely with the Project Director to ensure program deliverables are achieved
• Coordinate with the Program Director and Program Manager to maintain program compliance
• Track and monitor startup KPIs and overall cohort performance
• Assess and maintain the quality of incubation programs and activities
• Collect, analyze, and document startup feedback for continuous improvement

Requirements:
• Strong organizational and reporting skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Experience in monitoring & evaluation, project management, or startup ecosystems will be preferred
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively within teams
