Honourable President YPF, Syeda Nosheen Iftikhar , has successfully tabled a landmark resolution calling for age relaxation of 5 years, raising the CSS upper age limit to 35, and allowing 5 attempts for all candidates.
This important step reflects YPF's commitment to empowering youth and opening doors for more talented individuals to serve Pakistan through the civil services.

Islamabad, May 13, 2025 – MNA and General Secretary of the Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF), Nawabzada Mir Jamal Khan Raisani, participated in a roundtable organized by the Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS) in collaboration with partner organizations. He underscored the urgent need to institutionalize a National Policy on Media and Information Literacy (MIL) to effectively combat misinformation and disinformation. Highlighting that MIL empowers citizens to critically evaluate information and promotes responsible digital citizenship and democracy, he acknowledged Pakistan’s Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) but emphasized the necessity of a comprehensive policy involving academia, media, civil society, and legislators. YPF pledged full support to integrate MIL into curricula and strengthen national resilience against digital misinformation threats.

In line with the Vision of the Hon'ble Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and as per the guidance of the Hon'ble President YPF/MNA, Syeda Nosheen Iftikhar, the Coordinator of the Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF) for Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK)/MNA, Ms. Kiran Imran Dar, held a constructive meeting with the Honourable Speaker of AJ&K, Ch. Latif Akbar, and the President of the YPF Chapter AJ&K Legislative Assembly/MLA, Mr. Hassan Ibrahim. The discussion focused on enhancing youth engagement and strengthening representative participation across the region.
Ms. Kiran Imran Dar expressed gratitude for the establishment of the YPF Chapter in the AJK Legislative Assembly and acknowledged efforts toward forming the YPF Board, requesting expedited support where necessary. She proposed organizing a regional-level Youth Convention to foster dialogue and participation among young leaders and stressed the need to create more opportunities for young legislators to voice concerns on the Assembly floor. Additionally, she requested enhanced representation and participation of female members in all proceedings, especially in committees, and urged that priority be given to all young members in the Assembly’s proceedings. In response, the Honourable Speaker asked Mr. Hassan Ibrahim to conduct a youth convention in AJ&K in the near future and advised that for this purpose, guidance may be sought from the Young Parliamentarians of the National Assembly to ensure effective organization.
The discussion highlighted the importance of integrating youth perspectives into policymaking processes, with the AJK Speaker reaffirming the Assembly’s commitment to empowering youth and supporting initiatives that amplify their role in shaping policies of national significance.
This meeting marks a pivotal step in advancing youth inclusion and gender representation in AJK’s legislative and policy frameworks.

Islamabad, April 8, 2025 – The President of the Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF) convened a strategic meeting with YPF Board Members and Provincial and Legislative Assembly Coordinators to discuss key initiatives. The agenda focused on establishing YPF board in respective Provincial and Legislative Assemblies, ensuring the continuation of YPF youth conventions, and reviewing ongoing activities.
The meeting reinforced YPF’s commitment to empowering young legislators and fostering collaboration across provincial and federal levels to strengthen democratic values and youth engagement.

Islamabad, March 27, 2025:
The Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF) Secretariat held a meeting with Pakistan Youth Change Advocates to discuss progress in curbing industrial trans fats (iTFAs) and partially hydrogenated oils (PHOs) in Pakistan. PYCA updated participants on its public health campaign.
The meeting highlighted the severe health risks posed by iTFAs, including cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and obesity. PYCA emphasized the need for stronger policies and regulations to eliminate these harmful substances from the food supply. Young parliamentarians Forum Secretariat expressed their commitment to advancing legislative measures to protect public health.
