The Resilience and Adaptation by Fostering Anticipatory Action (RAFAA) project reached a significant milestone with the successful conclusion of its first Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting at the Sindh Secretariat.

A collaborative effort led by FAO Pakistan in partnership with CESVI and funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), the RAFAA project will work over the next 36 months to protect livelihoods and enhance the adaptive capacity of vulnerable communities in Sindh against climate shocks like floods and droughts.

The meeting established a strategic roadmap for the project, including the approval of the initial six-month work plan and the confirmation of targeted local interventions in the Umerkot and Mirpurkhas districts.
