The Office of the District Magistrate, ICT Islamabad has issued a notification regarding revised closing timings for markets, businesses, and commercial activities in light of ongoing austerity measures.

Shops, Markets & Shopping Malls
All will close at 08:00 PM throughout the week.
Exemptions: pharmacies, hospitals, petrol pumps, dairy shops, sports facilities, and IT/call centers.

Restaurants, Grocery Stores & Food Outlets
To close at 10:00 PM (takeaway & delivery services remain unaffected).

Marriage Halls & Event Venues
To close at 10:00 PM, including events held at private premises.

Effective From: 05 May 2026 (until further orders)

Citizens and business owners are requested to ensure strict compliance with the notified timings.
