Prime Minister’s Youth Programme

Chairman PMYP Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan hosted a distinguished dinner in honour of Syed Nihal Hashmi, Governor Sindh, bringing together leading parliamentarians, focal persons of PMYP, and esteemed ambassadors from Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Rwanda.

Strengthening partnerships, fostering global connections, and shaping new pathways for youth empowerment.

Statement delivered by Head Of Delegate Mr. Amsal Zaman (Deputy Director PMYP), at the ECOSOC Youth Forum 2026 Plenary Session on SDG 6, highlighting the vital role of youth in advancing water security, climate resilience, and sustainable sanitation through innovation, cooperation, and community-driven action.

NAVTTC convened a high-level TVET Roundtable at its Headquarters in Islamabad. The session was graced by Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Chairman PMYP, while Ms. Gulmina Bilal Ahmad, Chairperson NAVTTC and Muhammad Aamir Jan, Executive Director NAVTTC represented the Commission.

Distinguished delegates and representatives from from 14 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, China, Uzbekistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Morocco, Bhutan, Myanmar, France, and Singapore, along with the European Union, participated, reflecting strong global interest in Pakistan’s skills development initiatives.

Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan met with Hussain Aslam Bhatti, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Sindh, at Bhit Island—taking the mission of youth empowerment beyond cities and into underserved communities.

With the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme expanding its reach, opportunities are now extending to the islands, ensuring no young talent is left behind.

Also present were Farooq Ali Khalid, Focal Person PMYP, and Fahad Shafiq, Coordinator PMYP Sindh.

Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan interacted with PMYP’s Sindh team and NYC members at Governor House Sindh—focusing on youth engagement, collaboration, and future initiatives.

Also present were Farooq Ali Khalid, Focal Person PMYP, Fahad Shafiq, Coordinator PMYP Sindh, and senior journalist Irfan Siddiqui—highlighting a shared commitment to empowering
the next generation.

Governor Sindh Syed Nihal Hashmi hosted Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan and renowned business personalities across Pakistan at Governor House, Sindh fostering meaningful conversations around collaboration and growth.
