H.E. Mr. Rongvudhi Virabutr, Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan, recently gave an interview to CEO Club Pakistan on his work in Pakistan which will be featured in the publication “100 CEOs & Diplomats of Pakistan" International Edition.

The Embassy will be closed from 27-29 May 2026 for Eid-ul-Adha. We will resume normal operation on Monday 1 June 2026.

เสน่ห์ไทยในงาน “หมู่บ้านอาเซียน” (ASEAN Village)” ณ กรุงอิสลามาบัด

อิสลามาบัด, ๒๓ พฤษภาคม ๒๕๖๙ —สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงอิสลามาบัด ได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม “หมู่บ้านอาเซียน” (ASEAN Village) ซึ่งจัดขึ้น ณ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตอินโดนีเซีย เพื่อเฉลิมฉลองในพิธีปิดโครงการ Online Internship Program (OIP) ของคณะกรรมการอาเซียน ณ กรุงอิสลามาบัด (ASEAN Committee in Islamabad: ACI)

การเข้าร่วมในครั้งนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้เผยแพร่เอกลักษณ์ความเป็นไทยผ่านมิติทางวัฒนธรรมกีฬาและอาหาร ซึ่งได้รับความสนใจและเสียงชื่นชมจากผู้เข้าร่วมงานอย่างล้นหลาม ผ่านไฮไลต์สำคัญ:
• รสไทยแบบสากล: การจัดซุ้มสาธิตและบริการอาหารไทยยอดนิยม “ข้าวมันไก่” แบบสไตล์ไทยที่มีน้ำจิ้มรสชาติจัดจ้าน และขนมหวานไทยประยุกต์ “ขนมหยกมณี” ที่สร้างความประทับใจให้แก่คณะทูตอาเซียนและเยาวชนผู้ร่วมงาน
• มวยไทยสู่สากล: การจัดแสดงสาธิตศิลปะแม่ไม้มวยไทยบนเวทีการแสดง ซึ่งได้รับการสนับสนุนและร่วมมือเป็นอย่างดีจากสหพันธ์มวยไทยในปากีสถาน (Pakistan Muaythai Federation)

กิจกรรม “ASEAN Village” ไม่เพียงแต่เป็นพื้นที่แห่งการแลกเปลี่ยนทางวัฒนธรรม แต่ยังสะท้อนความมุ่งมั่นของไทยในการกระชับความร่วมมือที่แน่นแฟ้นในกรอบอาเซียน และการสร้างความเข้าใจอันดีในระดับประชาชนระหว่างไทยอาเซียนและปากีสถาน ซึ่งจะเป็นรากฐานสำคัญในการต่อยอดความร่วมมือด้านอื่น ๆ อย่างยั่งยืนต่อไป

Showcasing the Charm of Thailand at the ASEAN Village in Islamabad

Islamabad- 23 May 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Islamabad participated in the ASEAN village activity at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia to celebrate the closing of the Online Internship Program (OIP) of the ASEAN Committee in Islamabad (ACI)
At this event, the Embassy showcased the charm of Thailand through sporting and culinary highlights which were warmly received by those attending.

Internationalised Thai taste: the offering of the famous street food- Thai style chicken rice with spicy dipping and ‘Yok Manee’ pandan sago pudding impressed the ASEAN diplomatic corps and youth participants !

Bringing Muay Thai to the world: demonstration of the legendary Muay Thai with the kind support from the Pakistan Muay Thai Federation.

ASEAN Village is not merely a platform for cultural exchanges but rather a reflection of Thailand’s commitment to strengthen ASEAN cooperation and promotion of understanding between the people of Thailand, ASEAN and Pakistan which will serve as a sustainable foundation for other areas of cooperation in the future.

เมื่อวันที่ ๒๒ พฤษภาคม ๒๕๖๙ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงอิสลามาบัด ได้จัดพิธีสวดพระพุทธมนต์ถวายพระราชกุศลแด่สมเด็จพระนางเจ้ารำไพพรรณี พระบรมราชินี ในรัชกาลที่ ๗ เนื่องในโอกาสการประกาศยกย่องพระเกียรติคุณพระราชกรณียกิจในวาระครบ ๑๐๐ ปี ในด้านการศึกษา การพัฒนาสังคมอย่างยั่งยืน และความเสมอภาคทางเพศ โดยองค์การการศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ และวัฒนธรรมแห่งสหประชาชาติ (UNESCO) โดย นายรองวุฒิ วีรบุตร เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงอิสลามาบัด ได้นำข้าราชการ เจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ และสำนักงานผู้ช่วยทูตฝ่ายทหารไทย พร้อมด้วยคู่สมรส ร่วมกันสวดพระพุทธมนต์และเจริญจิตภาวนาถวายเป็น

On 22 May 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Islamabad organised a ceremony to pay homage to Her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni, the Queen Consort of King Prajadhipok (King Rama VII) on the 100th anniversary as the Queen Consort in which Her Majesty was recognised by UNESCO for her enduring contributions to education, sustainable social development, and gender equality.
H.E. Mr. Rongvudhi Virabutr, Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan led officials of the Embassy and the Office of the Defense Attaché and their spouses in offering prayer and meditation as homage to Her Majesty.

TH เพิ่มพูนทักษะภาษาอาหรับ เปิดมุมมองสู่อาชีพ 🌍📚✨

เมื่อวันที่ 20 พฤษภาคม 2569 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงอิสลามาบัด จัดพิธีเปิดโครงการ “เสริมทักษะภาษาอาหรับร่วมสมัย เตรียมความพร้อมเข้าสู่โลกการทำงาน” โดยมีเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เป็นประธานในพิธี สำหรับนักศึกษาไทยจากมหาวิทยาลัย International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) ที่สนใจเข้าร่วมโครงการ จำนวน 45 คน

ในโอกาสดังกล่าว เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้กล่าวเน้นย้ำถึงความสำคัญของการพัฒนาทักษะด้านภาษา เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับการก้าวเข้าสู่โลกแห่งการทำงานในยุคปัจจุบัน โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง นักศึกษา IIUI ซึ่งมีพื้นฐานด้านภาษาอาหรับอยู่แล้ว การต่อยอดทักษะภาษาอาหรับที่ใช้ในบริบทร่วมสมัย อาทิ ด้านเศรษฐกิจ การเมือง การทูต และความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศ จะช่วยเพิ่มพูนองค์ความรู้และสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ได้อย่างเป็นรูปธรรมในการประกอบอาชีพและการทำงานในอนาคต

Enhancing Arabic Skills, Expanding Career Horizons 🌍📚✨

On 20 May 2026, Royal Thai Embassy, Islamabad launched the project “Enhancing Contemporary Arabic Language Skills: Preparing for the Modern Workplace,” with the Ambassador presiding over the opening ceremony. The programme was organized for 45 Thai students from International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) who expressed interest in participating in the project.

On this occasion, the Ambassador underscored the importance of strengthening language skills in preparation for today’s increasingly competitive and interconnected professional world. Given that IIUI students already possess a foundation in Arabic, the programme aims to further enhance their proficiency in contemporary Arabic used in various contexts, including economics, politics, diplomacy, and international affairs. Such knowledge and skills can be effectively applied and further developed for future professional and career opportunities.
