The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) emphasizes seamless mobile connectivity for all telecom users. PTA hereby advises to all cellular mobile users to ensure that their Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) are valid and up-to-date.
SIMs linked to Cancelled, Expired CNIC or Deceased Individuals may be processed for blocking. All cellular mobile users are encouraged to renew their expired CNICs without delay, resolve any CNIC cancellation issues with NADRA, and ensure that SIMs are not registered against the CNIC of a deceased person so as to avoid any service disruption.
