📄 In his message to the Prime Minister, the Head of State noted that Belarus received the news of this horrific tragedy, which claimed dozens of lives—mostly children—with profound pain.

🤝 On behalf of the Belarusian people and on his own behalf, Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed his deepest condolences to the leadership of Pakistan, as well as to the families and loved ones of the victims. He wished them spiritual strength and fortitude to endure this ordeal, and wished a speedy recovery to all those injured.

The Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received with deep sorrow and a heavy heart the news of the terrible tragedy in the city of Peshawar – the collapse of a school roof, which resulted in numerous casualties, most of whom were children. The loss of a child is an irreparable tragedy and an incredibly difficult ordeal. We share the profound grief of every family affected by this sudden catastrophe. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of those who perished. We wish strength and fortitude to those injured, as well as a speedy and full recovery.

On October 9, 2026, the Ambassador of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Andrei Metelitsa met with Syed Tariq Fatemi, Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan. 

The parties discussed the current state of Belarusian-Pakistani relations, progress in the implementation of the agreements reached, as well as upcoming bilateral events.

🇧🇾 🤝 🇦🇿 On September 25, 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Andrei Metelitsa, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Irfan Davudov.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed matters of Belarus-Pakistan and Azerbaijan-Pakistan cooperation, other issues of mutual interest, and agreed to maintain working interaction between the diplomatic missions.

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko met with the Chairman of Pakistan’s Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, in Minsk.

The Embassy of the Republic of Belarus strongly condemns the brutal terrorist attack committed on September 18, 2026, near a mosque at the Police Lines in Kohat district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

This barbaric act of violence targeting law enforcement personnel and peaceful worshippers during Friday prayers cannot be justified. Such horrific crimes underscore the imperative need for an uncompromising and consolidated global fight against terrorism and extremism in all its forms. We hope that the masterminds and perpetrators will be swiftly identified and brought to justice.
