With the passage of time, the world is evolving, adapting, and accepting things in a beautiful way. It's high time for us to discuss the things which have been regarded as taboo, let's resonate about these things. Child Abuse is one of them. In our society people are not ignoring but disregarding it as well.
It is not affecting their present but their future as well, creating a loop of Traumas that push them down.

⭐Hafsa Tahir: Hafsa Tahir is an award-winning public speaking counselor and a therapist certified by the Academy of Modern Applied Psychology Scotland and the UK Health Security Agency who has trained 500+ youngsters in the past two years. With half a dozen national awards, she is among the very few Pakistanis certified as International Sustainability Leader focused on equipping people with stronger tools for better mental well-being. Miss Hafsa has done over 10 projects for mental health and is vocal on her Instagram. She is currently working as a digital journalist with Geo News English.

⭐Ahsan Javed: Hafiz Ahsan Javed is working as a social worker in Gujranwala. He is also the head of PPPWS, an NGO in Gujranwala working on the SDGs,s goals of gender equality, basic education, good health and well-being, climate change, peace, justice, and strong institutions planned by the United Nations. He has organized several training workshops for young children. And also certified by Punjab Social Welfare Department, Gujranwala.

Our team member Chandni Maheshwari and Komal Shardha did sessions on menstruation hygiene, sexual abuse, child rights and addressed students about it at Government High Girls School, Nawabshah

No child should ever experience the feeling of terror, fear, and Let’s stay united in raising our children right, safe from any harm.

Chidiya did an awareness session at The Excellence School & College

Sexual awareness is the most neglected topic in our society. Our team members Sanjana ahuja and Hira Channa interacted with more than 300 students of different age groups (7 to 12 years), but no child knew about it and no single child knew about their private body parts, So how can they actually deal with these situations?
That is actually the leading cause of increasing cases of child abuse in our society.

'CHIDIYA-let's break the cage' is the project where we're interacting with these children and acknowledging them about child abuse, making them confident about these situations and how to break their cages of mental states and fears if some unfortunate thing has happened to them.

AN AWARENESS SESSION WITH TEACHERS

We believe teachers play a vital role in the nurturing of kids. Our team member Chandni Maheshwari delivered an awareness session to teachers in a school.
In the session, Chandni informed teachers about

✓How Educators play role in identifying, preventing and responding to child abuse
✓ At the end of sessions, our team member shared some Anti-harassment helplines in Pakistan

For long-lasting impact, We will keep in touch with teachers and remind them who’ll continue our efforts and deliver information after us after every month.

Our aim is big, but our goals are little. Little by little we gonna reach our destination point.
