Strengthening collaboration for safer food standards and industrial growth 🍽️🤝

During his visit to the Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI), Director General Sindh Food Authority, Shahzad Fazal Abbasi, announced the formation of a joint consultative committee between SFA and KATI to address industry concerns and facilitate businesses in the Korangi industrial area.

President KATI, Muhammad Ikram Rajput, emphasized the need for extending the license renewal period to five years, organizing regular training workshops, and establishing a dedicated help desk at KATI for the immediate resolution of food industry issues.

The meeting highlighted the importance of cooperation between regulatory authorities and industries to ensure food safety, maintain international standards, and promote Pakistan’s export growth.

Additional IG Karachi, Mr. Azaad Khan, addressed members of the Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) during a luncheon hosted in his honour, reaffirming Karachi Police’s commitment to protecting industrial areas, combating street crime, and strengthening community policing through modern surveillance and Safe City initiatives.

KATI President Muhammad Ikram Rajput appreciated the improving performance of Karachi Police and termed the introduction of the e-ticketing system a commendable initiative. Deputy Patron-in-Chief Zubair Chhaya and Chairman Law & Order Committee Danish Khan emphasized the urgent need for enhanced surveillance, Safe City project completion, and increased police resources in industrial zones.

Senior police officials who attended the event along with the Chief Guest included DIG East Dr. Farrukh, SSP Korangi Fida Hussain Janwari, SSP Malir Abdul Khaliq Pirzada, and SSP SIU Samiullah Soomro.

Strengthening business ties and regional cooperation 🇵🇰🤝🌍

Muhammad Ikram Rajput addressed the Islamabad business community alongside Atif Ikram Sheikh at the FPCCI Head Office, Islamabad. Stepping forward to support the community during the ongoing heatwave

KATI has organized a week-long Heatwave Relief Camp for commuters, workers, and the general public facing extremely challenging weather conditions.

The camp aims to provide relief, awareness, and basic support to those crossing through the area and facing the harsh impact of the rising temperatures. If you are crossing by and need to take a short rest, you are always welcome to visit the camp and sit for a while.
