Visit programme of 31st Senior Management Course, NIM, Karachi at Karachi Export Processing Zone on 22-08-2022

German Parliamentarians headed by Ms. Birgit Kuhlmann, Deputy Head of Mission, German Consulate, visited Karachi Export Processing Zone on 29,July 2022 (Friday).

Bridger Muhammad Shabbir Khan, Sector Commander and Wing Commander Lt. Col. Haider Raza of 52-Wing, Bhattai Rangers, Karachi visited Export Processing Zones Authority Pakistan Head office Karachi at 24-5-2022.
Chairman Export Processing Zones Authority Dr. Saifuddin Junejo presented honorary shield to the Guest.

CHAIRMAN FBR (DR. MUHAMMAD ASHFAQ AHMED), Chief Collector Customs Enforcement (South) Abdul Qadir Memon, Mr. Hyder Ali Dharejo Commissioner Inland Revenue along with the senior officials visited Export Processing Zones Authority.
Chairman Export Processing Zones Authority Dr. Saifuddin Junejo briefed the delegation about the aims and objectives of the organization, performance of imports /exports, and future plans, During a detailed briefing by the organization, complete automation of all processes of EPZA at various Zones is being carried out.

Chairman EPZA Dr. Saifuddin Junejo Meeting with Syed Khursheed Shah MNA, Commissioner Sukkur and other Officers on 26th February 2022 regarding establishment of Export Processing Zone in Sukkur.

Chairman Export Processing Zones Authority Dr. Saifuddin Junejo visited Sukkur Chamber of Commerce.
He met the President of Sukkur Chamber Amir Ali Khan Ghauri and other members and discussed about setting up of Export Processing Zone in Sukkur.
Dr. Saifuddin Junejo said that considering the importance of Export Processing Zone in the development of the city, the efforts of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in establishing the zone are commendable.

Chief Collector Customs Enforcement (South) along with the senior Customs officials visited Export Processing Zones Authority.

The Chairman EPZA Dr. Saifuddin Junejo welcomed senior Customs officials. Secretary EPZA Engineer Nasir Hidayat Khan gave a detailed briefing on the objectives of the establishing of EPZA and the role of the zones in the national economy.
Chief Collector Customs Abdul Qadir Memon assured full cooperation to promote investment and increase exports. Meanwhile, the Chief Collector also planted a memorial plant in connection with the ongoing tree plantation campaign.

Later on, The Customs officials visited various industrial units of the Karachi Export Processing Zone and expressed satisfaction that the products manufactured in Epza’s are commendable all over the world.

The Chairman EPZA also presented a shield and bouquet of flowers to the Chief Collector and Collector Customs on behalf of the organization.
