Khi, Mar 26, 2026:
Mr. Muhammad Ismail Rahoo Minister Universities and Boards Department. Muhammad Abbas Baloch, Secretary Universities and Boards Department. Meeting with all Chairmen of the Educational Boards of Sindh to discuss preparations for the upcoming Annual Examinations 2026 across the province.

A detailed review was conducted regarding security arrangements at examination centers, availability of furniture, provision of drinking water, measures to prevent cheating, and other facilities, including electricity and related issues.

Approximately 1,353,258 students from Grades IX to XII will participate in the examinations. Exams for Grades IX and X will commence on April 7, 2026, while exams for Grades XI and XII will begin on April 25, 2026. For this purpose, more than 1,600 examination centers have been established across Sindh.

A provincial complaint cell will be set up in the office of the Secretary, Universities and Boards Department, to monitor examination centers and vigilance teams.

All examinations will be conducted under an e-marking system in BISE Sukkur and Shaheed Benazirabad.

However, BISE Larkana will initially conduct 8 papers from Grades IX to XII under e-marking.

Additionally, all papers of Grade-IXth and only two papers of Grade-Xth will be conducted through e-marking by Board of Secondary Education Karachi.

All issues related to drinking water, furniture, and other facilities at examination centers must be resolved immediately.

HESCO, K-Electric and SEPCO will be requested to exempt load shedding in all examination centres during paper hours.

Mobile phones will be strictly prohibited at all examination centers, and Section 144 will be enforced at these location's.

Jamshoro, Jan 24, 2025: The 29th Convocation of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology was held, during a total of 1,199 degrees were conferred. These included 1,080 Bachelor's degrees, 80 Master's degrees and 39 Ph.D degrees across various disciplines.
Also visited various stalls set up by different companies / firms at the MUET Job Fair, which offered employment opportunities to fresh graduates.

Held the 5th Senate Meeting of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU), Shaheed Benazirabad. The Vice Chancellor Engr. Dr. Madad Ali Shah presented the Annual Report of the University, highlighting academic, administrative, and developmental progress.

Inaugurated the Digital Lab & E-Marking Lab at Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Larkana, which aims to ensure timely declaration of examination results through the use of modern technology.
Also detailed briefing on the Board’s operations followed by an interactive session with officers of the Board.

Honorable Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, graced the 13th Convocation of Dawood University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Karachi as Chief Guest.

Heartiest congratulations to Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Minister for LG,on being conferred the Ph.D. degree in recognition of his outstanding public service.
Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals were awarded to the position holders.
