The country’s military showcased the multi-dimensional capabilities and highlighted key inductions including Chinese-made SH-15 self-propelled howitzer during the Pakistan Day parade.

The modern artillery is fully capable to hit at a greater distance and is mounted on 6×6 Shaanxi truck chassis with an armoured cabin at the front and one 155 mm gun-howitzer mounted at the rear of the vehicle.

SH-15 is said to be a supreme ‘shoot and scoot’ artillery weapon for the use of nuclear shells. Pakistan Army acquired the wheeled self-propelled howitzer amid a major program to modernize its artillery forces, as it is lighter than a tracked howitzer and can be more easily deployed in the mountainous region.

This year's Pakistan Day celebration will draw an international audience thanks to a variety of additional attractions, including a flyover by the recently purchased J-10C fighter jets.

Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar, the Chief of Air Staff, will lead the flyover in an F-16 fighter jet. After that, a squadron of 4.5-generation J-10C aircraft will fly by, followed by formations of JF-17s, F-16s, and Mirage fighter jets performing aerobatics.

One bomb exploded in mid-air at few feet of distance from aircraft and pilot flew back this aircraft safely (later awarded with medal for landing extensively damaged F-16 safely back to airbase).

Interesting thing is that Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) repaired this aircraft itself. You can see yellow sections on aircraft which shows it was repaired at large scale that nobody have capability except makers of this jet but Pakistani engineers did it. Pakistani engineers domestically produced some of its air-frame parts and fitted successfully.

The decades-old public transport problem of Karachi inching towards some sort of mitigation as Sindh Minister for Transportation Awais Shah has revealed that the first batch of prototype buses for the provincial government’s Peoples’ Bus Service project is ready to arrive in the metropolis.

250 hybrid busses being manufactured by a Chinese company for the People’s Bus Service project for Karachi and other districts of Sindh province.

According to a post shared on Twitter by the company, the prototype buses are ready and successfully tested. The buses will arrive in Karachi by next month.
