Mubarak village is 30 km away from Karachi city with a population of more than 10,000 people. The most of the people in this village are Baloch.

There are seven major Baloch tribes including Muhammad Hasni, Sanghur, Sajdi, Kalmati (Hoth), Bizenjo, Shaei Madhi and Kurd. These neglected fishermen, whose forefathers had been living here for nearly 200 years, lack all basic amenities.
