Pakistan has been facing challenges with ethical business practices for the last few decades. An atmosphere of mistrust has been created among the business and domestic stakeholders.
Every now and then, we hear stories about ethical issues and complain about others' conduct. As a result, our courts are filled with such scenarios, where the root cause is, WE HAVE FORGOTTEN OUR ETHICAL LESSONS.
To contribute to addressing the issue, we’re conducting a conference 'JHOOT NAHI BOLEN GE', in coordination with Markazi Ulema Council and Ethical Pro / www.ethicalpro.org, a portal that connects scholars with businesses and organizations, to conduct ethical business lessons, without any political, or religious sectors' influence, yet purely support communities with the best practices. Influencers, CXOs from different business communities especially IT, and respectable scholars from Quran teaching schools will share their suggestions to improve and sort integrity issues across businesses.
Agenda of Conference:
-> How can we replicate the ethical values in our daily business transactions?
-> Forgoing ‘Jhoot’ to earn long term ‘Halal Rizq’
-> How to retain the place of national entrepreneurs in the international market using honesty as a threshold?
-> How daily ‘Sadkah’ can scale up your profit turnouts?
-> Do(s) and Don’t(s) of Business transactions recommended by the Shariyat and Hadith
-> Role of Ulama in ethical trainings of the CEOs, Executives and Employees
-> Key features of ethical framework mandatory to add in orientation of employees
Venue:
Regent Plaza Hotel, Karachi Pakistan.
Time and Date:
4th March, from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM PKT.

This conference aimed to address the basic ethical issues in daily business transactions, and more importantly to shed light upon the significant importance of eradicating Jhoot in routine life. People of Pakistan have been suffering major backlash in winning clients and business from the market. Also there's a lot of gaps needed to be filled in the academic curriculum from the perspective of practicality of ethical education. Proportion of businesses are intentionally involved in fraudulent practices that in fact cause a negative image of business owners of Pakistan in the international business community. We foresee the potential harm the Pakistani business community would go through if they would not ethically empower their business operations. Mainly, the agenda of the conference was divided into three panel discussions. The major topic of panels were as following:
1. Cultivating Ethical Consciousness: A New Era for Education
2. Integrity in Trade: Paving the Path towards Ethical Commerce
3. Safeguarding Ethics & Promoting Integrity in IT and Services Industries
We request to all who are reading this, sign up with Ethical Pro and set up an MOU for 1 monthly session per month on ethics. COMMENT if you’re interested. Connect with +92 300 7448181 Hafiz Ibrahim.
Until we decide the next city for some more hustle, i wish you all much success with right business values and hoping we all make Pakistan 🇵🇰 proud with our IKHLAQ.
