Mr. Naseer Memon, a renowned historian and water expert, visited the Mohenjo-daro site along with his guests. The visiting delegation was warmly received by the Curator of Mohenjo-daro, who extended a formal welcome and provided a detailed briefing about the historical significance, conservation efforts, and overall management of the site.
During the visit, Mr. Naseer Memon shared his impressions and appreciated the condition of the site. He remarked that Mohenjo-daro is among the best-maintained, well-developed, and well-preserved heritage sites in Pakistan. He particularly praised the cleanliness, organization, and ongoing preservation work being carried out by the staff.

Marilina Armellin, Ambassador of Italy to Pakistan, accompanied by Mr. Domenico Polloni, Spouse of the Ambassador; Ms. Maria Gabriella Ierardi, Acting Consul of Italy in Karachi; Mr. Francesco Zatta, Head of the Italian Cooperation Agency in Islamabad; and Dr. Elisa Iori, Deputy Director of the Italian Archaeological Mission in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, visited the archaeological site of Banbhore and the World Heritage Site of Makli.
She received a briefing on the Banbhore Makli Necropolis and Shah Jahan Mosque Thatta from Eng.Serferaz Nawaz, Assistant Director Excavation, Ms. Zahida Quadri Assistant Director Ghayyor Abbas and Archaeolgical Conservator Saleem palejo The Ambassador expressed her interest in the preservation of Banbhore and appreciated the PakโItalian joint excavation work being carried out at the site.
