*FROM ISOLATION TO EDUCATION: HOW ARAS TARIQ RECLAIMED HIS RIGHT*
*“EDUCATION IS NOT A DISTANT DREAM, IT IS THE FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT OF EVERY SINGLE CHILD"*.
True education must be inclusive, breaking down barriers to ensure that every learner regardless of ability, background, or identity is welcomed, valued, and given the equal opportunity to thrive. this is a foundational truth for Child Aras Tariq, it felt like an unattainable luxury
Aras, the son of a hardworking Peon working at Pakistan Railways, grew up watching the neighborhood children walk to school every morning with bags over their shoulders. He longed to join them, but life had dealt a heavy blow: Polio. The physical challenges of the disease, combined with systemic barriers and financial constraints, effectively locked him out of the formal school system. for years, as he watched the world move forward, Aras felt left behind, believing that getting an education would permanently remain just a dream.
The Turning Point: Bridging the Gap
The turning point came when the field team from the CAUSE Development Organization, working under a project by the Directorate of Literacy & Non-Formal Education (DLNFE), identified Aras for the Center (CAUSE NFE 27/ CHRITIAN COLONY JACOBABAD, during the community mobilization efforts. Recognizing his deep desire to learn and the unique physical barriers he faced, The CAUSE team ensured that his mobility limitations did not become a barrier to his right to education.
An Innovative Learning Model
If Aras could not physically walk to a classroom, CAUSE decided to bring the classroom to him.
To accommodate Aras’s needs, CAUSE implemented a specialized, hybrid approach to ensure he received quality non-formal education (NFE) right at home By-Visiting Faculty: Dedicated educators from CAUSE regularly visits to Aras at home, providing customized, one-on-one instruction tailored to his learning pace. Virtual Monitoring & Mentorship: To maintain high educational standards, the CAUSE Management and Experts Team consistently review, monitor, and participate in his learning process via live video calls. This digital support framework connects Aras directly with senior educational experts who guide his academic journey.
A Vision Interpreted into Reality
Today, Aras is no longer just a spectator watching other children go to school; he is an active student. Through the NFE initiative, CAUSE has given true meaning and interpretation to his lifelong vision. With every lesson completed, Aras is growing in confidence, steadily leaving behind the shadows of his past isolation and perceived limitations. His journey stands as a powerful reminder that physical challenges do not define a child's intellect or potential.
Our Core Belief :
At CAUSE Development Organization, we believe that every child is special. True inclusive development means reshaping the system to fit the child, ensuring that no one regardless of location, economic status, or physical ability is left in the dark. Aras’s success is a testament to what is possible when empathy meets innovation.

In the remote village of Meeranpur Buriro, girls’ education was once only a dream for many families. Poverty, limited educational facilities, and social barriers prevented many girls from attending school and acquiring the knowledge and skills needed to build a brighter future.
A ray of hope emerged when the NFE Center Babul Ilm was established with the support of the Directorate of Literacy and Non-Formal Education (DLNFE), Government of Sindh, and implemented by the Women Children Welfare Association (WCWA). The center opened new doors of opportunity for out-of-school girls by providing access to education and practical life skills.
Among the center’s most hardworking and talented learners are Fareeha, Zuhara, and Asifa. These girls attend classes regularly and demonstrate exceptional dedication to learning. Every day, they participate enthusiastically in lessons covering reading, writing, mathematics, and essential life skills. Their passion for education has become an inspiration for other girls in the village.
What makes their journey even more inspiring is that, alongside their education, they are also learning embroidery, stitching, and sewing skills. Through practical training sessions, they create beautiful handmade designs and acquire vocational skills that can help them earn a livelihood in the future. This combination of education and skill development is making them more confident, self-reliant, and productive members of society.

The transformation of these young girls is clear evidence that when non-formal education is combined with vocational skills training, the results can be both meaningful and sustainable. Their success proves that when girls are given opportunities to learn and grow, they can overcome challenges, achieve their dreams, and become agents of positive change within their communities.
The story of Fareeha, Zuhara, and Asifa is a shining example of how the joint efforts of DLNFE, Government of Sindh, and WCWA are helping rural girls gain education, valuable skills, and opportunities for a dignified, confident, and brighter future.
“Education gives girls the power to dream, while skills give them the power to turn those dreams into reality.”

“Aamir’s Story”
Aamir is a 12-year-old innocent and hardworking boy who belongs to a very poor family. His father works as a daily wage laborer to support the household. Due to severe financial difficulties, Aamir has to work alongside his father .
Although Aamir’s hands were busy with hard work but his heart carried a strong dream of getting education. Whenever he saw children going to school, a deep desire to study would arise in his eyes. However, poverty had deprived him of the opportunity to attend school.
One day, an NFE Center “Phool Bagh” was established in their area by Sindh Society for Human Development. When the teachers at the center noticed Aamir’s condition, they approached him with kindness and said:
“Son! You should also come to the center. Education is your right, and we will surely help you study.”
Hearing these words, happiness spread across Aamir’s face. He felt as if a ray of hope had entered his dark life. The very next day, he wore clean clothes and reached the center with great excitement. He promised his teacher that he would study with dedication, work hard, and one day become a great officer to support his parents.
Now, by the grace of Allah, Aamir comes to the center every day. He has learned to write his name and is trying to read and write new words. His teachers are also very happy to see his hard work, passion, and dedication.
Aamir often says:
“I will study, move forward, and become a successful person. When I become an officer, I will free my father from labor work and end all his hardships.”
Aamir’s struggle, hard work, and determination is a shining example for every child that if a person has true passion and dedication, even poverty cannot stop them from achieving their dreams.
