The 02 day Training of Trainers under SMEDA - Pakistan’s 'Building SME Competitiveness' initiative, part of the GRASP project, has been successfully concluded in both Quetta and Karachi. This TOT was conducted by Empowerment thru Creative Integration (ECI) Pvt Ltd. The project is funded by the European Union in Pakistan and implemented by the International Trade Centre

Today marks the conclusion of the Handholding Support sessions in District Sujawal, completing the second phase of our Agri-Entrepreneurship initiative across 22 Districts in Sindh & Balochistan. Earlier, we successfully trained 498 participants in these districts through intensive 05 day Agri-Entrepreneurship training sessions. To ensure long term impact, we extended post training Handholding Support on Business Skills, helping participants apply their knowledge in real world scenarios and strengthen their ventures.

This initiative is funded by European Union in Pakistan and is being implemented by International Trade Centre (ITC) in collaboration with SMEDA - Pakistan as a core partner, with training sessions facilitated by Empowerment Thru Creative integration (ECI) Sukkur IBA University Institute of Rural Management, TRACE PAKISTAN Rural Partners Organisation, and Star Farm Pakistan (Private) Limited as training service providers engaged by SMEDA Pakistan.

The final session, conducted by Dr. Zafar Siddiqui, provided participants with practical insights into managing and scaling their businesses effectively. As the journey continues, these 498 entrepreneurs will also receive dedicated mentoring sessions over the next three months, further enhancing their skills and guiding them toward sustainable growth.

Under SMEDA-ITC GRASP Project, we successfully conducted five day Agri-Entrepreneurship training sessions for rural potential SMEs across 22 districts in Sindh and Balochistan. As a continuation of this initiative and to ensure sustainable impact, we have now provided Handholding Support on Business Skills to the same participants. This post training support is aimed at equipping them with practical business knowledge, enabling them to effectively apply their learning, manage operations, and scale their ventures.
Our expert trainers, including Dr. Nawaz Ahmad, Dr. Manzoor Ali Mirani, Ahmed, Munawar Sarki, Nisar Ahmed, Munawwar Khan, Abdul Qayum Zehri and others, guided participants through key areas such as financial management, market linkages, and strategic business planning, ensuring they are well-prepared for real-world challenges.
