His Excellency Akamatsu Shuichi, Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, hosted a dinner in recognition of the dedicated efforts of TDAP’s Expo 2025 Osaka team and to celebrate the remarkable success of the Pakistan Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. The Pavilion achieved significant acclaim, winning two awards and attracting more than 1.8 million visitors, marking a major milestone in Pakistan–Japan collaboration and cultural exchange.

Trophies Arrive Home: Celebrating Pakistan’s Success at Expo 2025:
The Expo 2025 team, led by Project Director Mr. Muhammad Naseer, formally presented the two trophies won by the Pakistan Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka to Mr. Faiz Ahmed, Chief Executive TDAP and Mr. Sheryar Taj, Secretary TDAP. Pakistan received the Bronze Award by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) and the Editor’s Choice Award by Exhibitors Online, highlighting Pakistan Pavilion’s remarkable success at the World Expo 2025, Osaka, where it drew around 1.8 million international visitors.
These awards strengthen the legacy of Pakistan’s presence at World Expos, setting a benchmark for future participation and global recognition.

🇵🇰🇯🇵 Pink Rock Salt Donation to Hirakata City, Osaka
Following the conclusion of Expo 2025 Osaka, the legacy of the Pakistan Pavilion continues to shine beyond the Expo grounds.
As a gesture of friendship and cultural exchange, Pink Rock Salt, the signature element of the Pavilion’s theme “Universe in a Grain of Salt” was donated to Hirakata City, Osaka.
The three salt blocks, once part of the Pavilion’s exhibition, will now be displayed across the city’s public and commercial spaces, symbolizing the enduring bond between Pakistan and Japan.
Mayor Takashi Fushimi received the donation from Mohammad Naseer, Director of the Pakistan Pavilion, expressing hope that it will deepen mutual understanding and strengthen the friendship between the two nations.
A gift of Pink Salt, a gift of connection, carrying forward the spirit of Expo into the world. 🌍
🇵🇰🇯🇵 大阪府枚方市へのピンクロックソルト寄贈
2025年大阪・関西万博の閉幕後も、パキスタン館 のレガシーは会場を越えて輝き続けています。
友情と文化交流の象徴として、パビリオンのテーマ「一粒の塩の中の宇宙（Universe in a Grain of Salt）」を体現する代表的な展示物であった ピンクロックソルト が、大阪府枚方市 に寄贈されました。
展示に使用されていた3つの岩塩ブロックは、今後、市内の公共施設や商業スペースで展示され、日本とパキスタンの絆の象徴 として多くの人々に紹介される予定です。
寄贈式では、伏見隆市長 が パキスタン館館長 モハンマド・ナシール氏 から岩塩を受け取り、
「この寄贈を通じて両国の相互理解と友好関係がさらに深まることを期待します」と述べました。
ピンクソルトという贈り物は、つながりの贈り物。
万博の精神を世界へと受け継ぐ象徴となりました。🌍

The Pakistan Pavilion, curated by Noorjehan Bilgrami, has been awarded the Bronze Award for Exhibition Design at Expo 2025 Osaka, recognising the vision behind “Universe in a Grain of Salt.”
Through the glow of Pink Rock Salt, the story of the Salt Range, and the creativity of Pakistan’s artisans, the Pavilion offered a journey that connected heritage with future possibility – and invited over 1.8 million visitors to experience Pakistan in a new light.
This recognition honours the dedication, artistry, and spirit that shaped the Pavilion – and the message it carried:
that even in the smallest grain of salt, a universe of wonder lives. 🌍

The Pakistan Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka had the honour of welcoming Suhail Warraich, one of Pakistan’s most prominent journalists and television hosts.
As he explored the Pavilion’s immersive design, he experienced how the story of Pink Rock Salt transforms into a metaphor for connection — linking heritage, creativity, and Pakistan’s vision for the future.
2025年大阪・関西万博の パキスタン館 は、パキスタンを代表する著名なジャーナリストでありテレビ司会者でもある スハイル・ワライチ氏 をお迎えする栄誉にあずかりました。
